Found this on YouTube.  Just posted today (Feb. 13, 2013). A Kickstarter V:tM:Bloodlines-inspired MMO (not by CCP or WW).  Anyone know anything more about this?

Edit:  Here's the kickstarter page

Seeing as this game uses Bloodlines and VTM assets (at least in concept if not directly) I wonder what do Activision(bloodlines is/was published by activion) or CCP have to say about it, do they give approval?

Developing a new IP is not easy even when it is something derivative but like I said in the relevant thread I think the developers should really consider taking that route or at least get some sign of approval before accepting donations to this project..
I think clearing up that issue in the FAQ (if there is an answer about it) will help secure more funding for the project that seems questionable otherwise.

I'm pretty sure that this project is not legal since you need to pay in order to use intellectual property. And using VTMB assets denotes a lack of creativity. It's a pity. I want a good WOD mmo no matter who publishes it.

Nice Necro but by now an order from CCP came and the project changed Direction because of this and turned into Sanguine nights.

To clarify : Despite having considered joining once,  I am not part of the project myself so all my haters can feel themselves free to like and support it  :justabite:.

hehe, its no longer Requiem of the Night, you're just a little behind. Its called Sanguine Nights, Darkest Blood features our own models, story, rule system and the like. Check out our dedicated section for Sanguine Nights Darkest Blood - Signo and I are going to be doing an interview as well. Furthermore, CCP asked me as a courtesy to not continue with the RotN project. Check out our album to look at our creative artistic ability --> https://forums.planetvampire.com/?topic=6188.0

LOL, thats for sure, is why I had to put my 2 cents in, guess I've got some more work to do insofar as backtracking and updating info on forums and comments in areas not necessarily connected with P-V, WoDNews, or Twitter...lol

Well, I sure as heck didn't expect the thread to be 1 month old and I rarely come here so it is news to me. Neat work on the new project, though.

Fully understandable. This forum is kinda dead. Not our fault; we're happy to spend untold hours quibbling about details nobody cares about, but after 6+ years with about a week week of info to dissect, we've ran out of material ;)
