A note on you note being able to read the note:   

I'm just trying to show that you're a bit rusty at Japanese, coming from a life in America.  Speaking and listening to Japanese are much easier than reading adult material (like a newspaper or book, but even an address) because the kanji can be pronounced differently when combined (chinese soundss vs japanese sounds), and there are often more than one of each for each kanji.  This reading/writing difficulty will go away as you continue to practice.

Short answer: No.


Long Answer:  When I was seventeen I went to visit Japan for the first time.  We visited the Kyoto/Osaka area, which is maybe a 4 hour bullet train ride South West of Tokyo (where your character is).  There was a bar called Bar None that was trying to be some kind of international bar chain.  We got there early so they didn't ID us.  Was a fun night.  I just did a search now and it seems that chain no longer exists (Lonely Planet used to list it, but it no longer does).   But that bar was far more European and American expat crowd than what your character is in.  Also, there is no bar like I've described along that part of Shinjuku Dori or the main alleyway off of it.  To be honest, anything worthwhile is usually hidden on some high floor off an elevator.  Space is incredibly limited and bars are usually pretty small.  So I guess the answer is it was a real bar, but it no longer exists.  It also was not in the place I described it in game and the way I've portrayed it was nothing like the actual bar that had that name.

Yup, that was a change.  The posted reference is pretty well up to date on disciplines, although it doesn't include a lot of the side bar text or additional options.

Suggestion to speed things up(maybe) :
I'll write my character's action as regular  and add an <assumption> tag before writing a section that hijacks your character and write how I think things are going to go that you can either accept or reject and retcon later, that would speed things up in that I don't have to wait for your reply in character interaction unless you want me to
(in which case I know exactly where I can retcon it)

I'd prefer not to do this.  The nature of PbP games are that they are slower than tabletop games or games run in a chat.  I'm willing to accept that limitation.

That said, I don't feel like your last post went too far in controlling the NPC character.  She is flushed with your blood and you already have very enchanting features without using Presence.  So she's puddy in your hands.  I'm fine with you describing her actions so long as it is reasonable to the situation, but I'd prefer to answer questions rather than let you make up specific information regarding an NPC (nature/demeanor, background, stats, etc.).
