  •                 Hey there, loaded Vampire back up today just to run through the single player campaign, and I'm not getting any sound effects when I attack a monster. Should there be some kind of sword slash or something? I don't really remember but it seems like there should be. I'm getting music and like dripping water effects fine, just seems like attack sounds arent there. Thanks for any help.

you could try adjusting the game's audio settings, like turning surround sound on or off, or using a different driver set.

I have nearly the same problem.
If i wanna use eax2, it is dissapearing from the list of sound profiders.
Then vampire opens an ingame window with the message: Your Soundcard doesn´t support this feature.
But i have an Audigy 2 with uptodate drivers, inclusive the new eax4 driver.
     PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

...more like "Your game does not support this soundcard!"
Sadly, the game is three and a half years old, and it has an ever-growing list of hardware that it doesn't get along with.  If all hardware accelerated audio fails to perform, you might try the DirectX Audio driver, if it's available.  Also, if you pick an audio scheme in the game, then that option immediately disappears, the game is telling you that it either doesn't support or cannot access that particular configuration.
