  •                 Can anyone help me?  I started single player today, I got out of the first building, and everything is grey.  I can't see a thing...Anyone know how to fix this?

the most likely cause of this problem is your video card and/or its drivers.  edit the game's shortcut so that it says "c:\program files\vampire\vampire.exe -console"
that way, you can use the console in-game (kind of like in Quake and many other games).  now play the game as you normally would.  when you get to the part where everything is gray, just hit the ~ key to bring down the console, and type in "fog off" or "fog 0"

I tried that and it told me “The name "c:\program files\vampire\vampire.exe -console" specified in the Target box is not valid.  Make sure the path and file name are correct.

Different versions of Windows handle that field's syntax differently.  That is, you might need to change it from
     "vampire.exe -console"
     to
     "vampire.exe" -console

...moving the -console outside of the quotes helps most win2k users, while leaving it inside the quotes often works for win98 and winME users.
