Hm, this might be possible if someone makes a good Gangrel hands texture for me to use...

I can. It's no big deal. I'll send you tweaked models with the textures as PM when I done. Should I rename everything or you can do it yourself?

The Camarilla does sanction diablerie in some cases, for example as a reward for taking part in a Blood Hunt, you get to diablerize the target of the hunt. And while it may not technically be allowed when you're running-and-gunning in Sabbat territory, they'll often look the other way.

But what happens if you meet a Camarilla vampire afterwards that can see the diablerie aura? Wouldn't they kill you or at least question you? Also what about the new disciplines you get in Bloodlines 2 at the start: fog, bat swarm and telekinesis. Have these any base in V5 and are they available to thin blood caitiff?

In the case of the diablerie I imagine that this Camarilla vampire would take things to the elders who will look the other with more or less grace to it. After all while the Camarilla has laws, it don't have the rule of law, if you get my meaning.

Good news, Wong Ho cellphone doesn't vanished anymore. I simply use the cellphone as ornament and it works!
Awesome!
Can you also made it to work for Tawnis boyfriend?

Cool! Now I have to find some places for them.
Maybe it could fit in Andreis Hollywood Mansion?

Bloodlines Games General Discussion / Re: Clans To Play Question
« Last post by Sinestro on Today at 07:21:42 PM »
I'm in a similar boat as the OP, want to experience the game a 3rd time after

1) playing a Toreador with guns
2) playing a Tremere with blood explosions... and guns

So I feel like I should play a melee focused character to spice up the gameplay, leaving me with Brujah, Gangrel Nosferatu and possibly Malk (altho I watched a malk lets play some time ago)

So what would you guys suggest for an experience as fresh as possible combat, gameplay and dialogue-wise. What should I not be missing out on?

I think that you might have to put some solid game hours before you pick the clan.

That's the impression I got. I'd imagine that, to use a Bloodlines 1 analogy, you'd spend Santa Monica as a thin-blood, and then after getting Downtown -- maybe after the Elizabeth Dane -- you'd get the opportunity to pick your clan. Pretty much the whole of Santa Monica was low-key an extended tutorial area anyway.

Don't quote me on that but I think they mentioned you'll spend roughly the first third of the game as a clanless thin-blood.

Wesp5, I have a request to the future update. Can you make unique hands for gangrels too?

Hm, this might be possible if someone makes a good Gangrel hands texture for me to use...

People who worry about the game being political are kind of missing the point of Vampire, I think, besides.

Correct, and let me try to be as clear as possible. There is plenty of politics in the Wod, it's a natural part of your interactions with others, and sculpts the rules you live by within. My concern is mostly about the forum becoming a toxic shitshow as new people flow in who don't take the time to read about the site's history ect. I can't expect that. I just want people to have civil discourse. I don't want to get into people's heads and try to determine what beliefs they hold either, it's not our place. People should choose how and to what intensity they decide to express themselves, as it sets the standard for the new people coming to our forums. I called out a specific example in this thread of what I meant, and I know the person has been around a while and won't likely have a problem again. What you see in the Steam forums is the normal "pick a side" team politics where people try to convince others by using submission tactics. We don't want that type of person here, let them do that elsewhere. If they see it happening here, they see an invitation. I've been around long enough and made enough mistakes to know better than to let that kind of trouble start. It will be a big enough problem dealing with all the new passionate modders coming here for Bloodlines 2, arguing and fighting over everything you can imagine. Those who have been around since the early days of PlanetVampire know what I'm talking about.  :boil:

Unless we see another issue, I plan to shut up about it now and let the convo continue. If there are further questions, feel free to PM me.

I admit I am not completely up to date with V5, but this seems...weird to me. The Camarilla generally frowns on diablerie quite a lot, so it would be strange, to me, for them to offer it as a reward. Unless this isn't exactly "on the books" or perhaps not even done with the Camarilla's knowledge, that's also possible.

The Camarilla does sanction diablerie in some cases, for example as a reward for taking part in a Blood Hunt, you get to diablerize the target of the hunt. And while it may not technically be allowed when you're running-and-gunning in Sabbat territory, they'll often look the other way.

Of course, there's nothing saying the Camarilla is involved at all in this case. Anarchs don't really have a set of laws so much as they have some common sense behaviours, so if you're going to diablerize someone, Anarchs might frown on it, but they're not going to come for your head or anything.

Is that an official confirmation?

That's an official confirmation of how things can theoretically work in-universe, not a confirmation on how it's going to work in Bloodlines 2 specifically.

I think that you might have to put some solid game hours before you pick the clan.
