Can we please not change the animations? I never had problem with NPCs merging or clipping with other objects, either it didn't happen or I didn't notice. and i do usually take close look at environments. so i presume
if we are not looking for problems they aren't noticeable.

If Wong Ho is sitting in the air, and it cannot be corrected, otherwise he will merge with the chair, then it is possible to make him always stand? As far as I remember, in the original, he never sat down at the chair, besides, he always speaks to us in a standing position.
Exactly. So why do you care how he sits on his chair? There are things we will never be able to fix. Have you ever compared outsides and insides of buildings? I have now made it so that he gets up when you enter his office so you should not see it :)!

I can only use brushes that are available on the maps and on some maps there were smaller ones to use than on the others.

If we take the same Lacroix, he only once talked to us while sitting, and then he did not get up while doing this.

So one could create an open source game and give them $0 from the $0 of revenue ? I bet thats not possible.

I really dont see why anyone would not just rather create an own vampire setting. Its not exactly hard.

As for Jack and the Bartender, apparently then we will have to leave it as it is. I myself moved the Bartender from the counter to see how it would look, but the result did not suit me either, so I'll accept it as it is now. Maybe make an invisible support under it on which it will stand?
I already tried this, but the result is the same, also you can crouch over the bar and see that he is standing on something. But I did notice that the basic bartender doesn't have the leaning animation so when the plus one is moved back it looks closer to the original and so it will be!

I checked your file, now this quest cannot be accidentally skipped, and most importantly, after we know Trip's name and information about the weapon, the quest can be taken at any time. I think that now no one can have any complaints about this quest and the topic is closed.  :rock:

I guessed that this was done due to sticking in the road, so I will prefer the current solution. Without getting stuck.

Even if it happened by chance, I think it should be left, I think you did everything possible to make it easier to take this quest now.  :azn:
I'm surprised that everybody is so concerned about this minor quest, probably because of the Finance bonus. I broke some rules to make it even easier to get, please test the attached dialogue file for me to see if this breaks something else!

Not easily. Jack's animation is part of the whole scene and can't be edited! And I am not in the mood to waste hours of time to try to attach some particles to his cigar. We already changed it's texture so it is not as obvious and the same is true for all bartender cigars.

Yeah, but this is not as easy as you think because the NPCs fall to the ground and do not float! I can only move him away from the bar a bit, but then he will not assume his leaning on the bar pose at all.

That is a fix to avoid getting the player stuck in the ground which is a much bigger problem in my opinion. You can only have one or the other!

...this game might have been planned as a normal detective adventure before Paradox stepped in and convinced the developers to make it use the VtM background because they already knew that Bloodlines 2 was in development hell. You probably know more about the timing, could this be the case?


We got the first news about this game back in May 2019 (and Swansong was revealed as the title in October 2019). At that point, Bloodlines 2 was revealing Toreador as a playable clan, and IIRC it was announced in March 2019, so it was two/three months at most since its public reveal.

Well, even that German review does not really sound very exited. The reviewer expected a Telltale adventure and was positely surprised that he got something more.

Well this is surprising but its Unreal Engine 4. I have thought it would be inhouse /  the engine from the Council aka CyaTech.

In the bar The Last Round, the bartender's hands merge strongly with the bar. Can you lift the bartender a little? I think in this case, his feet can get off the ground, but without cheats, we won't be able to see his feet in the game, unlike his hands, so the normal player won't notice.
