Tanks artblizzard for the answers.

Glad you like my concepts as there is not much people as far as i see who enjoy this gallery.
I'm still working hard on others concepts.

Anyway there is update there - now i have made some Tzimisce constructs variations.

I was even wondering maybe i should restrict this gallery just for creators of this project ?

However for people who wanna use them: All concepts are made for Vaulderie only.

Later update link:

For the game? Make it to where you can have romance with other players or npcs, and have the option to turn them (within the rules of the game). I mean, if you're going to go extensively mmo, or rpg-ing, why not include romances within the player character's life? Intimacy as well, as it is usually involved in romances, although you don't need to show cutscenes involving explicit detail, right? I think the conversation lines and such with other player characters and npcs should be able to include seduction, flirtation, and other such romance possibilities. And reactions of jealous or PO'd lover/spouse (s) if you cheat on them or such. It would definitely make the game less boring lol.

I don't see how that kind of romance would work in the game, considering the player is undead. In WoD, the only pleasure for a vampire is feeding (through seduction or otherwise) and that's pretty much it.
Very interesting concept art for Vaulderie, Darkfury.

The Worlds of Darkness aren't your classic RPGs, where relationships with your party members matter and have an effect on side-plots. In the Worlds of Darkness, coterie members are thrown together because of necessity, greed, or fear - not conductive to flirtatious side-conversations. The closest we've seen to this in VTM - Bloodlines is the 10-second "erotic cutscene" with Jeanette - and even then, it sounded like she was using the player-character for her own gratification, out of boredom and to spite (the memory of) her sister, not out of any actually romantic feelings.
BUT!
A romantic plot or story element can work really well, especially if that romantic plot or story element is reworked into horror or another theme of the Chronicle. This is what we saw in VTM - Redemption, where the driving force behind Christof's actions in the first half of the game was pursuing Anezka because he loved her and wanted to save her from the new world he found himself in. In the latter half of the game, depending on what the player has done with Christof's Humanity, his love for Anezka is either his last solid anchor to his humanity (having killed, tortured, and intimidated his way through the rest of the game), acts as the foil to his growing hungers and acceptance of his damned condition, or turns into a possessive and destructive need to prove his superiority over Vukodlak and decide Anezka's fate.
So romance can work in the World of Darkness, as long as it doesn't overthrow the themes and moods that are the Worlds of Darkness.

I think this'll only work if we get full access to every aspect of story creation in the new-and-improved version. It would require a game editor on the scale of the Nod SDK, and I'm not sure if they're planning on that kind of scale for the release.

Remember: It's not the size of your fangs that matters; it's what you stick them in.

BUT!

... there is also Heather in Bloodlines. Granted, she is only your ghoul, but you have several dialogues in the game in which you can show that she matters to you. Which could be the reason to set her free or to revenge her, which I made a little more clear in the plus patch but Troika did use that scene because they knew some players would get attached to her...

Christof Romuald fell in love with Anezka before being embraced, when he was still human. She was more like a part of his humanity, that you could be altered by certain decisions in the game. Maybe romance and intimacy would somehow work for players who maintain a high humanity. The player in VtM is an undead parasitic monster though, so I still think that feeding is more important than romance.

it's not that much of a suggestion as a question :
as far as i have read the forum there where some thoughts about routines of NPC.
That will be great , but i wonder how far that will change the game.
To think about Vampire routines are not so simple as humans routines.
Not mention that any routine of a NPC can open many different aspects and deepen gameplay .

I wonder - maybe romances can fit well as some  Vamp, humans routines part .
Anyway i like that in a story ,I like romantic moments.

what about Vamp routines actually is interesting how many gaps in a story that can open.
For example if we consider what Berthram does in his spare time ?
Maybe he has some secret places in the sewers and when you follow him .
Maybe he Plays a piano in some overflow tank under SM as he is a bit romantic outsider.

If Plague spreading Vamps will have routines that will change many aspects of game.

Did anyone considered that even ?
That will bring actually new dimension to this game don't you think ?
maybe we can have something like a opportunities  during this "dates"
like additional information or influence somehow a quests , ...

What do you think? Is it possible to code this beyond just a routine walk?

Not sure if this counts as romance but... what about Romeo (the graveyard dude)?

A female player-character with high enough seduction skill can sleep with him instead of getting a prostitute for him.

The momentum of the project is great!!

@Darkfury i personally think you have good talent and your art complements that!

I'd like to second a suggestion from earlier,

the ability to have a custom player home, where you can buy furnishings, decor, and a place for your ghouls and childer.

Say you built a custom city for mmo, put around 100 something apartments/houses etc for player homes or create a single home where its custom for each player, unless that player invites another player etc

I thought it would be a cool idea for it, and it brings about uniqueness to each player as well.

It would take forever to develop but would be a great addition!!

Thanks :)

Jeanette, Heather, Romero and VV are probably the best examples of romance in VtMB. If romance does become an important part of Vaulderie, then maybe it should be more restricted by Humanity (and social skills), so only players with a high humanity get access to those dialog options. Wouldn't that be more balanced?

Hello, this is my first post and I'm a fledgling so please be gentle!

First, let me say I'm loving what you guys are doing with this project! I really like a lot of the ideas being thrown around by Darkfury, Mermaid, and others!

Second, I read through the FAQ and I really like that this project is keeping the original content in place. I recently played a mod that included changes in the music and thematic scores and HATED it. I wouldn't mind though if there were additions (especially due to repetition) but I can't see Bloodlines without, well Bloodlines (especially by the band MINISTRY played in THE CONFESSION, I just love that detail!) or how the first time I entered The Asylum to the dark poundings of Chiasm's Isolated, or the sexy yet mournful aesthetic of Cain.

Like a lot of people, I would love to see the maps (particularly the main hubs) expanded. I found Hollywood in particular lacking and wanted to explore Chinatown more. Those were the two areas I was most eager to explore and with Hollywood in particular I felt kind of let down. Obviously this isn't Grand Theft Auto so we don't need huge maps with little to do, but considering how seedy and decadent the underside of fame and wealth can bring...I just felt like there should have been more quests and interesting characters. Maybe a couple of additional quests in The Hills?

I like the idea of expanding the pier. It's a staple of Santa Monica and it reminds me of The Lost Boys. What if there was a quest that called back to that franchise? Maybe a mission involving vamp bikers? I liked that the Elizabeth Dane quest was a nod to the Dracula novel. And the Ocean House paid tribute to The Shining. I would love to see more of those type of quests if possible.

I also really like the ideas for customizable clothing and havens for your vampires.

Well, thanks for listening.

First of all welcome and thank you for your feedback!

I can understand your concern, because those tracks are somewhat made exactly for those moments, and it's something we wouldn't consider removing. We're mostly going to add an option for players to customize their music as they please.

Expanding the maps is one of our many goals with the project, however as they may seem to be a great addition, however since they are not originally planned by Troika, they would be just another option for the player to choose from. We like to have a "definite" version of the game but to keep both parties happy a vanilla option is going to be added as well.

Extending the pier is just one of the many parts of the game we'd like to revamp. Once we've gathered enough talent we'd revamp most buildings as well. As you may have heard, a lot of the buildings don't fit too well with the outer part, for example the Asylum map and the ballroom, the first haven and so on. We'd also like to do a version 2.0 of the maps so to speak, where the layout of the maps would be changed in order to have them fit properly. Think of it as the Black Mesa mod. Taking all the information from Half-Life but all from scratch to make a whole sense out of the new sizes and layouts.

As for quests, many of these quests would be a custom option and not part of the main game. As much as we'd like to make the game have new contents as part of the main game, it'd put a huge dent for the hardcore fans out there. Any custom content we add that isn't part of the main game will be only in the revamped version.

Thanks for your input, Isolated!

A way to do that would be to add an option to speak to a DJ and have him change the music in the club!

I have an intriguing question concerning the principle of a customizable dwelling in-game. Where will the prospective property be located, and will there be a development that will allow the player to earn a salary to pay toward rent and utilities? Moreover, a ZIP code or postal code would have to be necessarily integrated into the cityscape to accurately tab the whereabouts of the citizenry in the cityscape.

How would one proceed to contact a retailer for the purchase or rent of a property? Who would be granted the privilege to become a landlord and whatnot? Furthermore, how would one contract a mortgage?

I would simply like to ensure that Vaulderie has full moddability, compared to Bloodlines, which had many hardcoded values :P such as, no discipline higher than 5, better hotkeys.
Please? if anything, as much as Bloodlines :)

wonder if it's possible also to have better lighting!
