Arpanet - Event Horizon
If I had to define what is the ultimate form of electronic music, it is this.
The purest, most brilliant tune I know of.
My father is Dirty Harry, my mother is Bloody Mary

Pretty good, considering it's a 16 bit console's attempt at MIDI metal.  It's interesting that they managed some gnarly solo shredding and made use of pitch bending as a stand-in for whammy.

Fast-forward a few years...I was impressed with the Quake 2 sound track when it came out back in 1997.  In particular, the riff around 1:00 in this track:
Sonic Mayhem - Rage
LUNA NOBIS PROVIDET

So I haven't exactly played the game, but I did watch a Let's Play on Youtube. I wouldn't mind playing it myself, but I don't know If I want to get a Wii or PS2 to do so.

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories [Music] - When You're Gone

Oh look, Motoko(or Pisha, if you like) can sing...Very well, I'd say.

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories [Music] - Always On My Mind

I don't recall if I ever heard the original, but this tops it, if you ask me. And you might not expect how it goes, namely that beat that goes through most of the song.

Try PCSX2... thats a PS2 emulator. Keep in mind that by itself its legal but where you get the Bios and the Silent Hil Rom is another story(can be obtained both Legally or Iligally).

That screams Pantera with a 3rd-rate drummer.

In the bath - Lemon Jelly

Ahhh... nothing like sitting back to this with a cool gin & tonic at the end of a long week.
This is Dan, who created Bloodlines @ dilapidation.com back in 2003 and then ran Planet Vampire for a while after that.
