The Old Forums
« on: April 18, 2019, 05:39:38 PM »
I was just wondering if anybody knew if there is an archive somewhere of the original Planet Vampire forums?  I was kind of wanting to read through some of those old posts.

I don't think there is. Only option I can see is go to the last number of the pagination in a specific category on this current forum.

I do see a couple years are missing from when it got scraped to populate this forums database as it says I have 3000+ post when it was more like 6000 posts on my old account.

OK thanks, I'll give that a try!

Edit:  HA it worked!  I am currently happily cringing at some of the dweeby stuff I posted 12 years ago when I was just a baby Vampire and brand spanking new to VtmB part 1.

Only on weekends ;)

The old forum also deleted threads that weren't active for a period of time, so we weren't able to save a lot of that. I wish I could find the epic "Pisha is hot" thread that turned into a massive shit fest lol.

It wouldn't be this one would it? I remember coming across that when researching whether anyone else had killed Pisha before. :P (the answer is yes, and also that you're gimping yourself if you do).
Strange is the night where black stars rise,
And strange moons circle through the skies,
But stranger still is
Lost Carcosa.

It does look like it. I didn't realise Skyra made the thread. I thought it was TheVampireO

The glorious days of annoying Signo with Lindsay feet, aaaaah yes...

Has anyone tracked Skyra down?
One time on this highway rest stop in middle France there was this fellow who shook his head when he saw a mustang with NJ plates pull up on the parking.
He looked like the kind of person who'd have a picture of a polygonated undead cannibal stripper in his wallet :chinscratch:

Have you ever heard the tragedy of "Scipoten the Fuckin' Creep Who Scared All the Women Away From the Forum"?

It's not a tale a Neonate would tell you....

The past is buried, Neonate. We can't have you waking the ancient ones.

Has anyone tracked Skyra down?

I haven't had any communication with him in like 3 years. He seems to have abandoned his social media accounts that I know about, and kind of abruptly disappeared for no reason known to me. I texted his old phone number late last year, but a person responded that I had the wrong number. I think if he's alive and wants to be found, he'll show up one day. He's a good but complicated dude in a complicated life, I just hope he's okay.

Have you tried the web archive?
