George Orwell

Brujah, it could go no other way, during the Spanish civil war he'd fought alongside Brujah (unaware of this of course) and after the war the Clan followed his life very closely.
After embrace he became entwined in the Jyhad and the Anarch movement, hoping to spare Kine and Kindred from Gehenna.
In working towards that goal he established a Anarch Gehenna Cult called the 'Ender Partisans' similar in structure to the militant Socialist groups he had been part of in his youth.

My favorite writer, Ernest Hemingway was one of the last Salubri healers, advocates of peace.

Knowing the full horror of war from the Italian front, Ernest decided to fight the jyhad in his own way, through his writings that call on pacifism and self-analysis. After his return from Africa where he had been almost killed by the contracted assamites that were sent by the Tremere, Ernest spent in hiding back in the USA. He lived mostly undetected, until his final night in Idaho, 1961. Though his passing had been claimed as suicide, there are numerous rumors that the Tremere finally managed to catch up with him.

Isaac Asimov

The Author is an acquisition embraced by the Ventrue Clan, a rational smooth operator in life and natural diplomat, it would seem a good choice for the Ventrue within the Camarilla, however many could not accept the idea of a prominent Atheist intellectual being truly worthy and under the advice and help of his Sire escaped, welcomed into the Anarchs through his Sires contacts (glad to be done with the Ventrue's ridiculous trials).
Dr Asimov still spends his time in University campuses across the world partaking in the crème de la crème of Mensa candidates.

JRR Tolkien

Under auspices of the Holy See and within the Order of St Blaise there is a Vampire who holds an office as the Sabbat's best propagandist.
He is a Caitiff or so he has been told apparently this is a lowly form of form of creature but like many such small people they will surprise you in a pinch.
His disciplines should give you a clue to his ancestry Chimerstry, Presence and Dominate, perhaps some Ventrue-Ravnos mix.
Tolkien's Embrace was achieved through the direct contacts of the OoSB rather than the Sabbat, so is unaware of the nastier side of the Sabbat, writing wonderful stories on the 'heroic' deeds of the Sabbat Paladins against the chaos of the abominable Camarilla/Anarchs based on the raw data of after-action reports (making phone calls for details of weapons and uniforms, pictures and examples).

We're making quite a topic here, I'm really glad. ;)
Anyway, Konrad Bercovici steps up in the limelight.

Konrad represents a secluded Gangrel in its fullest. He traveled across Europe, making a stop in Paris where he observed the turbulent debates and intrigues of both the Ventrue and Toreador before leaving for the US. Roaming throughout the vast country space he recorded various customs and ways of living of the kine as well as kindred. Though wrapped up in chaos as he passed the NY area, Konrad persists as one of the most segregated kindred, focusing on keeping his autarkis position strong.

Alan Moore

Salubri-Baali the Blood is a conduit to the Soul and so we must connect to heal.
In undeath Alan Moore walks the world and wished to walk the paths between worlds, the simplest way to achieve this at first was to cavort with Demons and to that end found the Baali.
He has seen such sites, feelings and sounds of Dark Thaumaturgy since then but unlike most Baali does not follow any of the sects.
Instead wishing to heal this dark world Moore accompanies and works under the tutelage of a Nagaraja Vampire seeking to reset the Wheel of Ages.

Bernard Cornwell

Viewing Beckett as his idol, Bernard is also a roaming Gangrel that traverses far and wide, collecting historical documents and transmuting that information into novels. Those novels mostly glorify kindred battle achievements and glories, but opposing the Ventrue influence, he frequently wrote about the exploits of ordinary kine. He acquired critical acclaim with his series about Napoleon in which he promoted the unison of kine and kindred, similar to that that had existed in Carthage.

Jane Austin

"Why my dear it would be a shame to let such thoughts go to waste" expressed the female Toreador, bosoms heaving as she admired the sickly woman's neck.

The curse of Cain would make her stronger and will remove this sickness.

And so she kissed, a blissful flurry of delirium flooded the world and Ms Austen became no longer any sort of dependant woman but a creature of the night.

At present she is an unambitious member of the Camarilla, Jane runs a small unassuming coffee shop in a mansion owned by the National Trust, occasionally publishing works under a false name.

Here's one of my favs, Lord Byron.

It is obvious which clan embraced this poet and traveler: Toreador. Throughout his flamboyant and illustrious travels, he acquired much of respect from various Toreador guilds: Italy, Greece and UK. During his stay in Venice, he managed to influence the ruling Ventrue doge to sponsor lavish poet nights and parties during which, of course, Byron was the center of attention. On top of that, many rumors circulate that his skill with presence is unsurpassed, allowing him to make many Ventrue with dominate look like amateurs.

Frank Miller

Nosferatu, We live in a city of terrorists, whores, thieves and illegals.
All of them are delicious.

As a Vampire, Frank attempts to fight crime however, it would seem that almost none of the Vampire factions actually approve of this and as a result has been chased out into Autarkis, living in remote caves.
Despite this he frequently heads out avoiding other vampires and goes hunting 'lowlifes', he has very low humanity as a result.

Zhan Zhak Ruso, one of my favorite political theorists and philosophers. ;)

Though being a Ventrue with power-hunger pulsing his blood, Ruso managed to control it in favor of research and political study. Investing more time into his analysis of the kine during the revolution, he dangerously ignored the turbulent kindred politicking that had cost him his life. Though leaving a rich opus of works and documents, his falling from the Ventrue clan's grace allowed several assamites to assault him at dawn, knowing that he will be without backing. Manipulating the public at the time with a story of cerebral bleeding, they managed to cover up the assassination of one of the biggest minds at the time.

President Donald Trump

During Gehenna the President was taken to a remote Midwestern military research base.
Work was being carried out by Technocracy Scientists on the Tzimisce plague fungal spore running rife in underground caverns and sewer systems all over the planet.
When walking from Airforce One to the bases interior he muttered something about being hot and thirsty, an aid made a note of this.
After a debriefing on their findings, President Trump continued his inspection and was chaperoned by technicians into a lab where the spores had been grown artificially.
Trump peered down a microscope onto a large sample of fungus and was handed a glass of water, unbeknown to his entourage broke off a piece [of fungus] and drank it down.

On the flight back Trump became unwell and tendrils burst out of every orifice, the president 'died' a month later after every effort was put into saving the man.

However the White House does not lack big connections within the supernatural world and Trump was resurrected, unfortunately for the presidency this was only possible by completing the Mark of Cain on a metaphysical level, Trump is now a 4th Generation Tzimisce.

Currently President Trump is completing his post-Gehenna term in office even more constrained by the fact he can no-longer go out in the day without powerful members of the Technocracy who can block the effects of the sun.

A jump into the past... Miguel Cervantes!

Miguel could be classified as an exemplary Toreador that pursues literally perfection and acclaim, but unlike his clansmen and clanswomen, times and circumstances forced him to move about and to even end up once in captivity by the Samedi pirates... if it hadn't been for the local Ventrue magnate to lend his mortal parents money to pay up for his release, the world would had lost one of the greatest writers of all time. Upon returning to his homeland that is being dominated by the Lasombra schemers, Miguel managed to work well unto his last years, when he was staked and burned by a hunter pack.

^Aww, I was gonna make him a Gangrel.
Oh well.
Jeffrey Archer
(Not exactly a famous author in the traditional sense but he did have his figurative 15 minutes of fame.)

Lasombra

It's rare for Vampires to target a politician believe it or not, governments and government officials are often tied into a network of alliances within the supernatural world, the fall of great empires can be directly connected to shifts between powers above and below (in the metaphysical sense but sometimes literal).

So embracing a politician is rarely sanction by the Camarilla often 'touching base' with the Kine powers that be on a regular basis.
The Sabbat on the other hand... The only limit is necessary secrecy and of course the dictates of the Clergy (specific VIP's are off limits).

The Lasombra of course had a hand in destroying his political career and the second trial.
Now after embrace Mr Archer faces a new politic vampire politics, The Jyhad, and has embraced it wholeheartedly within the Lasombra Clan while continuing and inspiring his writing.

Grant Morrison

Maeghar.

Auspex, Obfuscate and Mytherceria parent Clan Malkavian.

"So it turns out Grant Morrison doesn't existed just an Actor in some fae's now unknown game, and you know what, fuck em' bruv" said Mr Morrison's Malkavian sire to a now fetal Grant Morrison, whose home and possessions have started to melt and disappear around him as 'horrible reality' sets in "You're free now".
It would probably have helped if some sort of madness set in but no, nothing but warm earth slowly ebbing away.
"Look mate, I know some lads who'll show you the ropes, Anarchs you'll like 'em" the Malkavian smiles and nods tossing him a card, it's a two of clubs not exactly poetic, with a barely legible address written on the back.
