Here's a link to Paradox itself on the same issue.

But its very nice to see that my favorite furries gets some digital love. :)

Finally a new WoD game. Though there are no hunters I am glad that I will probably get an opportunity to shred kindred!

What I read from the link above, the game seems to be promising, but please more vamp hunting instead of dishing it out on simple humans (only a few lines of text hint on the main antagonists). The second thing would be the balancing of violence display - like Bloodlines does. It's nice with that theme of questioning violence's character and its other bolts, but I hope that it will not become Blood Rayne.

I never played Blood Rayne, but werewolf Rage reminds me of vampire Frenzy. Is this similar? Also "action RPG" mustn't be first person, no?

"Action RPG" doesn't need to be first person. ;)

Oh yes, when I said that I wouldn't like the newest WoD game turned into BloodRayne is not that BR is a bad game per se, but a bit hollow.

Wow! They are aware of the modding community! Cool! I wish more gamemakers cared about this...

Does anybody understand what he says around the 6 minute mark? I would like to know if this is supposed to be third person only or first person when not fighting. His comments could be interpreted either way...

According to me, he said:

It will be an action RPG; 3rd person because of the warform (shape shifting); the 3rd person view from Baldur's Gate and Pillars of Eternity is not appropriate because it is a more "personal" conflict. He did not mention anything pertaining to the first person view.;)

I guess it will be like Bloodrayne or Prototype.

Probably my most eagerly anticipated video game.

Give me gore, blood, guts, a similar "grimey" feel from Bloodlines, cool characters, a good soundtrack, and a sense that it IS in a world of darkness, and I'll be really fucking happy.

The thing I am most expecting out of this game is mostly a great and compelling story (and atmosphere) with intriguing characters. With everything else I can make compromises.

So, apparently the official forums for the game have already opened, which I personally think is a bit early since there is so little info on the game, but hey, at least there is an official space for the fans to speculate.
http://forums.focus-home.com/category/100/werewolf-the-apocalypse (http://forums.focus-home.com/category/100/werewolf-the-apocalypse)

Also, in the Aggrogamer interview, the developers said this:
"The story will be a linear one with the illusion of choice, but the story will still go in the same direction no matter what is said and done."

I am actually optimistic about this, because, for starters they are keeping it real, and not trying to say something big and sensational to give the fans expectations that are really hard to meet.

Sounds good to me! I'll take a good linear story over a boring sandbox game anytime...

EDITED: Nice to see some forums up.

I don't know what I was thinking with my first post.

They do have a habit of keeping things under their hats when it comes to WoD Video Games don't they? In comparison Vampyr has a ton of information and videos.

I hope for the best, not to get cancelled halfway like WoD did. I support this "reanimation" of werewolves that, frankly, did not get any attention.

Sorry i know its meaningless Render Trailer but i am really not impressed. Maybe real gameplay would change my mindbut i doubt that. Also it´s look that this game will be on PC a Epic Store Exclusive for some time.

I'm more concerned with these trailers that show... nothing.
What is the point ? I guess teenagers may be impressed but it's just a marketing cutscene

its a problem for sure
there is more info in wikipedia for some reason : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Werewolf:_The_Apocalypse_%E2%80%93_Earthblood (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Werewolf:_The_Apocalypse_%E2%80%93_Earthblood)

For me the biggest issue is that at first glance the protagonist seem like exactly the kind of stereotypical dude that I imagine most people wouldn't want in a werewolf game.  hes ok as a side character but not as a protagonist IMO.
Also the story definitely doesn't aim for a younger demographic so I wonder how that would work..

I'm kind of positive for the story. And I am not sure how the story don't aim at a younger demographics. But remember that most WtA fans won't be terribly young by now so its entirely possible that they want to draw in older fans.
But in honestly, enviromentalism is kind of big among the young to my understanding so if it is balanced by a storyline that has moderate elements in it, what's the harm with that? And I do think that also younger people can appreciate the themes of the storyline.

I think the game is looking pretty good and I find myself more intrigued by this game than vtmb2, although that may just be because I don't know much about it.  My only main issue I can think of is it being a werewolf game, the main theme is naturally going to be environmentalism which frankly is quite boring so hopefully they will add other themes or something else to spice things up (like werewolves ideals regarding eugenics, clan politics, spiritual degredation, etc....)

Looks like a fun AA game. Nothing great but maybe a good action game. But the charactermodel of main character still looks dull.

"With his former Caern in danger, Cahal must return to a land he once called home to protect his family and friends, no matter the cost. With the evil corporation Endron besieging them from every side, only you can fight the corruption taking root within your home, using the devastating power of the Werewolf to turn the tide. Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood is coming to Epic Games Store, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X in February 2021."

Well... these guys don't know how to make trailers

But it's good to know it has what seems to be stealth portions mixed in with some beat 'em up action.
