Which iteration? Marvin used to just pack up and delete forums like it was nothing and start over. We're the opposite here. People have asked me in the past to delete their accounts and I've refused.  Sam is even more into preserving history than I am, and has gone to great lengths to find old stuff that we thought was lost forever, including getting our domain back from IGN. I made a post about leaving the community several months back, then had a change of heart after watching L.A. by Night on Twitch, among other things. I didn't delete the post, even though the thread was no longer relevant, because it was part of our history, despite it perhaps making me look a little flaky. Not to talk shit about Marvin, but philosophically I believe if you value your community, you should value the history of it as well. People get to know each other, grow together as people, and that becomes just as important as the products the forums support imo.

Totally!

When Bloodlines 2 come to light. The first place people come to was here and I think it says a lot.

To sum it up I think Signo is saying:

To think If I had never had the Giovanni Mansion bug I'd probably not ended up being part of the community. Its mad how a bug turned into a love of a game considering Bloodlines popped my White Wolf cherry so to speak

Researching a fix for a bug is ultimately why I first joined Planet Vampire back in 2007 myself.

Yeah Marvin was quite a ...character to say the least and had his flaws
But the people on that forum were pretty chill from what I remember back when I was a dumb teenager.
I vaguely remember at one point somebody pretended to be the final night dev and joined the Ravafx forum to start a confrontation but it was so painfully obvious it was troll complete with all caps rants and misspelling words.
