*takes another swig of Lauren's tequila and clambers up on the bar counter with her* But let's place a wager on who gets to strip first, eh? *gives a very un-Vongetta-like giggle*

"Hell, you think this is lively?  We haven't even started doing body shots yet. Who wants to go first?"

Has already stripped down to black thong and bikini top.

"So, you see, the reason French has so many out of control rhyme schemes in its poetic forms is because French is so ridiculously easy to rhyme in.  There's nothing impressive about making a sonnet in French, really.... Hmm, excuse me a minute, I'm going to go get a refill for my drink.... at the bar...."

Sits down on the edge of the bar.

"Refill?  Sure, what were you drinking?"

I prefer mine directly from the source. Anyone up for sharing? I promise I won't bite too hard.
 Unless you want me to...

Oh, wait. I just remembered how much I loathe bloodbonding.
Maybe just nibbling on someone's wrist and filling a glass? Don't make me chew someone's aorta!

Hehe, so now the party really started!
Approaches the bar with an evil grin.
Now I am real thirsty! And too sober, I hate that!

*joins Lauren and removes her cardigan, standing on the bartop to reach for some spare wineglasses, clad in just a white bra and jeans*

Okay...shall we set the fees at $100 per dance, Lauren? It's a party but I'll be damned if I can't earn some pocket money...

If you're thirsty, CL, you can fill up right here. And you're allowed to bite as hard as you want. Pain is pleasure!

"$100 for a dance?  What kind of strip clubs have you been to?  But if that's the going rate....Oh, here you go Quiller."

*Leans back over the bar, and grabs a bottle, handing it to Quiller.*

Quiller watches Lauren retrieve the bottle attentively, then takes it, uncorks it, sniffs the aroma and refills his glass.  He holds the bottle up for a moment and looks around him to see if there are other glasses waiting to be filled, not wishing to prematurely recork the bottle.

Century a dance? I`ll be here all night then, got a few thousand in my pocket.

 *Turns to crowd*

First dance and drink are on me, if you`ve already had a drink, then have another!

*Passes the girls a fat wad of notes each*

 Shake it baby!

The one to the left could use a third leg. Or maybe...
Where is that drunk I saw earlier? He looked tasty!

After a while in the country Lightfingers is back proweling the city streets. he hears a change in tone from the club a few streets away.

Hmm he thinks, that place wasn't my style earlier, way too cissyfied. but now...

He glances down at the battered dirty jeans and dark T-shirt that he habitually wears, maybe I won't stand out so badly after all.

Fitting in isn't really a concept that Lightfingers understands in a social sense, but not standing out, now that's important.

He drifts by, listens to conversations about poets he neither knows nor cares about, peers intently thorugh a window unnoticed. well this might be worth a visit after all.

Lightfingers joins the crowed at bar, leaning against the wall, enjoying the atmosphere even his lonely soul sometimes craves.
