Read this character bio and weep (actually I don't know why you'd be weeping, but it sounds better).

While on the subject of Lars - thanks ejd, glad someone appreciates the effort. As for continuing the story, heh well, most of the participants are away for the summer (including the ST, I'm sure you can see how that would bring a story to a halt).

What I don't get actually is why "Raven's Call" is the only ongoing story in the forum. Is it because no one wants to take up the Storyteller mantle? Cuz even though a bunch of people seemed interested in participating, "RC" still has a monopoly on the board, which I don't understand.

*shrug* Dante, pass me a beer, man. I'll worry with not throwin it up later. (yes, that was an attempt of bringing this post quasi-on-topic)

Joking aside, you should grab a copy of either "Clan novel: Toreador" or "The Fall of Atlanta" (which includes the former) Vongetta, as it features a Torrie-led party filled with politricking, subterfuge and more politricking. Somehow I see how you'd like that, don't ask me why.

I've acturally been thinking of starting some story but right now I don't see that happening.
I have some experience in forum roleplays and such but it's still a distant goal...

We are two, you know! Well... I sort of snuck in through the bouncer. As in, I went right through him. It was fun.
We will throw our own Sabbat feast in the old slaughterhouse!

Is it? I don’t remember being the one that is constantly complaining...
However I must be crazier than I usually am, since I agree with you in something. There is no reason to not have another story going on parallel to Raven’s Call, since there are a lot of people wanting to participate in one. What is missing is a storyteller, I don’t have the time or knowledge in wod universe to run it though. May only drive Lancea crazy in the attempt…
Beer? There is beer? Where is mine?

  •                 Isn't the party perfect then? *lounges on a lush velvet sofa with vodka in hand* Come on, people! I've already booked the club for tonight, all to ourselves.

I would Lancea, but I have never story told before.  I've never done any roleplaying in the V:TM universe.  Or I gladly would.

No look, Whitman was great, but somehow his free verse has taken over all poetry except hallmark cards and music lyrics.  But Whitman used internal rhymes, assonance, hidden rhythms, but these modern "poets" think they can spew out fragments of prose in a "deep" manner and they've made poetry.  Talking about your feelings in a disjointed manner is somehow poetry, but have these people ever even tried a sonnet or a rondel?  Now Poe's poetry was all about the sound and the rhythm.  He did a better dark poem than any of these so-called goth poets...

Oh, yes. I have to agree with you there.
Poe was certainly an interesting specimen. I liked his "The facts in the case of M. Valdemar" very much even though it is more scientific than a poem.

I think I will vacate the area before anyone notices what  I did to the bartender...

Couldn't you save your artistic urges for the after-party hunting session we're planning, CL?

And I'm a great fan of Poe's works myself.

  •                 Wonders if this would be a good time to do a strip tease on the bar. "What the hell"  Looks at the half-empty bottle and climbs up on the bar.

  •                 An unsuspecting Malkavian skulks through the door, nods approvingly at the dancing, and takes a seat at the bar. "Our's will be a chilli tequila" (Truly the drink of the madman) "And leave the whole lemon!"
