Since there was an argument in the 'PV vamp club scene' story thread, I think maybe it's a good idea to start this one. Post anything you want regarding the story mentioned above.

Mods: If I overstepped my bounds in creating this one please transfer thread ownership to Valoris.

I didn't mean you are to remove me from the thread but from the story. You can do that, can you?

It's a shame you feel this way about the thread. If you feel so strongly about this, then...

To answer your question, as thread-starter, I feel I am not in any position to remove you from the story - you need to do this yourself in a way that will blend with the current plot, given that the thread is a very open kind of RP.

View this as a play, where, if an actor needs to make an exit, it is done in a way that goes with the story.

 What do you think?

Think of it as bitsie typing with somewhat light regards to PNP rules/plot and part improvisations! =P
(Fer example I didn t roll my dice for a dementation attack, otherwise I should have checked according to my roll the amount of time people would be affected if succesful and if I was affected myself or not for botching)

I apologise for using the story thread to satisfy my curiosity. I got my answers though.

El Gostro: Thanks for the encouragement.

I was surprised at how quickly people started beating the shit out of each other.

 Actually no, I wasn't.  I wish I was, though.

It's staying fun enough to warrant much more RP.  As far as format, I suppose I could lay down some ground rules...more "guidelines" than anything.  This will help the story flow more smoothly.

 1. Describe what you're doing in such a way that it allows for other characters to react.  That is, don't steamroll the scene.

 2. Don't dictate the actions of other player characters.  Narating the actions of NPCs is ok (within reason), because the ST would normally do that and there is no ST in this case.

 3. Try not to do things that force other players to react, especially if it's time-sensitive.  This is necessary, given the assymetric style of forum RP.  Try to keep possible responses open-ended.

 4. Do everybody a favor and don't be Cartman...you know, that South Park episode where they play Ninjas and Cartman keeps one-upping Kyle, constantly making up new powers for his character.

Everybody feel free to add your own suggestions; it's a group effort!

I must admit that I was disappointed by the way the fight went. It was me and Bloodywolf vs. Azrael, Boxman, and Valoris. Their side had an extra person. What happened-- shouldn't have happened, especially with the way Bloodywolf and I restricted many of our abilities from our other chronicle, well, at least I was. I saw numerous opportunities that none of you took advantage of where you could have put the beat-down on Wolf and I. Valoris just sat there and did nothing after I ruined her knife (she still has fists). After I sliced Azrael open, he still could have attacked me with Celerity+Firearms like I suggested (and spending a willpower point to ignore the pain for the rest of the scene), especially while my sword was tied up pinning Boxman. Even if he wanted to just stand there, or even if he was laid out on the floor, he still could have fired off a couple of shots because I knocked his gun out of my face, but not out of his hand. I was actually waiting for either Azrael or Valoris to attack me while I left myself open from pinning Boxman. But even before that, after Boxman shot Bloodywolf and laid him out on the floor, he should have immediately leveled the shotgun at me since I was his original target in the first place.

If you orchestrated your moves better, or took the appropriate openings when they presented themselves, especially with Bloodywolf not posting, you three could have run us out through the mirror, which I was already prepared to do if things got too hot.

i feel so gostro -esque right now (see last RP thread post). HEY! there should be something on the interactive storyboard where you post your rp chars profile...like on jackovis's site?

Sorry about that. Javokis just got slammed with a bunch of spam bots a few days ago so he is testing various measures to stop them. One of these measures is approval from Javokis to join the forums while he searches for alternative methods of fighting them.

I guess so but I just thought it wouldn be very logical or add much to the combat able characters If I suddenly got my guy to get in and dukes it outs!

(though on the other side it d have fun to have curled up in teh floor and be stepped over by the brawlers!)

Hmms I gotta make one profile up at javokis sitey!

hey why dont we make up NPC actors for next the next scene?
Ya knows like a scourge or sheriff that can be bribed or stuffie!
