Welcome to the new role-playing section of PlanetVampire. My name's Roman, and I will be the moderator of this section. Some of you might know me better from the Morrowind Summit Forums. Technically, this section is still 'under construction', as far as the official threads are concerned. I'd like to add a role-playing guide, but I'd prefer to build it from your suggestions, and not just reverse-engineer the one MSF's section has (although I must admit it's quite good).
Suggestions? Comments? Questions? Now's the time.

IMHO, the best way to get things started is to start a story. You can explain along the way :-)

I will, soon. Once I finish with my last test for this semester (which is today), I will have this great big pile of free time to do it in. I've already got several ideas running through my head, and once I've chosen a storyline, I'll start the story.

How familiar does one have to be with Vampire: The Mazquerade to participate?

Not very much. As long as you know what your character is capable of doing, and the basics (Bloodlines pretty much covers them), you should do okay.
This link
should give the basic knowledge on the Vampire clans, and bloodlines. The rest you can pick up along the way.

I'll see what I can do.

not having "played" on a forum before:
How often do you expect characters to contribute?
How much time do people (as players I can see the ST spends a lot) normally put in?
Interesting certainly. Maybe I'll lurk a while and see how it goes.

Hm. Well, if you truly *do* intend to make a FPRPG (forumplanet RPG) with the Vampire rules and run a story here, you've certainly piqued my interest.

Hey, what's up? I haven't looked into the Summit for a while, I admit, mostly due to lack of time. As you can see, I've sort of moved here, liked the view, settled in...
Care to join us?

Not much really. Only reason I still go to the Summit is the Tavern, if it went bye-bye then so would I.
And I might just join you... I'll take any oppertunity to better my writing abilities and exercise my imagination...

So this is where you sneaked off to! If I'd spotted this sooner, I'd have considered joining in! I often only appear on here when I have another product of my twisted mind to show off - I think I'm freaking people out with Vicissitude!
