Combine #16 and #18, and you're getting warmer.

Doesn't matter since guessing is fun.

Kyasidh: 300 years studying Fae lore will fuck you something fierce.

Harbingers of Skulls: 600 years trapped in the Tempest will fuck you up even more.

Samedi: great fun, but these fellas didn't show up in the games either.

The bloodline in question makes all those guys seem downright mainstream by comparison.  Another hint: although the mystery group is called by name and you get to actually see one of their members, she (presumably female, it's hard to tell) doesn't deliver any lines, and I wouldn't even really call her a character either.

Ah, the good old Tlacique (and I do mean OLD!).  They're a great concept, though it's a shame White Wolf took so long to recognize the need for a well-written Central American bloodline.

On 3 occasions I've attempted to introduce the Tlacique into a chronicle: one online and twice in LARP.  The first two times they were shunned because the other players (ergo their characters) were ethnocentric dipshits and had no interest in interacting with "that Mexican guy, or whatever he is."  The third time it actually worked out pretty well.  A pair of theologically-minded American Malkavians took a trip down to Rio to study ritualistic ancient societies.  Their poking around attracted the attention of Tlacique elder who survived the Sabbat inquisition.  The elder sent his recently-embraced childe to contact the player characters, and they established relations.  After a few weeks of discussions about the history of the species, the 8th Neonate accompanied the Malkavians back to the US.  Despite being well educated, he had never left South America, so he ended up being a great "fish out of water" character: just the right amount of mirth and inquisitiveness.  But he also illustrated the dangers of the first world, making the characters (and players) recognize all of the things that they do to survive.  This forced them to acknowledge all of the aspects of humanity that they had lost, perhaps without realizing it.
 [/memorylane]

But anyway, the Tlacique do not show up in either Redemption or Bloodlines.  That's probably a good thing, though: I can't think of any plausible contributions they could have made, given those games' story arcs.

The one I'm looking for is...think of it as a (hopefully) extinct bloodline of a clan that is itself extinct for all practical purposes.  They were oddly guilible in their time.
