Would you focus on improving the site, or would you focus on the personal aspects regarding your behavior? What's more important to you - improving the site or justifying your own behavior in discussions? Seeing that you only replied to the latter and totally ignored the former (although it my post would have been a good opportunity for you to re-focus the discussion on site improvements), the answer appears to be a bit sobering.
Psyringe posted:it's not the opinions that you present which I find offputting (I agree with many of your opinions), it's rather the imho abusive and overly aggressive way how you present them.
With your obvious knowledge about oWoD, you could be a Beckett on these forums, enlightening people while still encouraging individual thought and respecting differing opinions. With your zeal in attacking and insulting people who dare to present different opinions, you rather end up being a Grünfeld Bach though, which is a shame imho.
Anyway. That's not really on topic here. However, the fact that you responded to this, and only this, part of my post, illustrates the problems I tried to outline.
In all the discussions I've seen, you were the only person who mentioned the currently rather poor state of the site. You even made concrete suggestions on what to improve. In my post, I said exactly the same, I basically advanced your agenda in that regard. And of all people who posted in this thread, I was the only one so far who did that. I presented you an opportunity to go beyond the "good prank / bad prank" discussion that is developing here, and re-focusing on the point that this site could benefit immensely from some updates.
