     In general, they were apparently leaders of mercenary
     soldiers who would hire themselves out to the highest
     bidding city-states during the Italian Renaissance.
     As relates to this game, ?.
     They do pop up in relation to a WW PnP game called
     Inquisition, which is part of the VTM series.
     A good question for the PnP/Wod experts around here.

     A thing that remained from the Multiplayer part. Apparently the game would have you pick a side (vampires/inquisition) and have at the other.
     The condotierre use the baldheaded SoL-gunman model and have two or three Numina powers, as unfinished as they are. There is a console command to enable them, but as it's been long since I've uninstalled the game...
