Arthur Kilpatrick Vampire?
« on: May 30, 2020, 03:48:14 AM »
In the Favorite NPC thread in the Bloodlines General Discussion section.  A member posted a message saying that they read on the White Wolf Wiki page, that the Arthur Kilpatrick we meet in Bloodlines is not the actual person, and that the actual Arthur Kilpatrick is a vampire.

Is this true and apart of WoD canon?  Or was it just some random VTM fan who edited the entry?

From the V5 Camarilla sourcebook:

"Nick Kilpatrick: Neonate of the 12th Generation. He worked as a bail bondsman in the family business before being Embraced in 1994 by his brother Arthur (now missing)."

It goes on to say that Nick is currently Sheriff of Cincinnati, but gives no more info about Arthur.

As I recall, the X20 mod adds an e-mail to Kilpatrick's computer, that makes reference to this new bit of lore - and tries to explain who exactly you're taking missions from, since Arthur had already been Kindred for at least a decade, by the time the game takes place.

This is strictly fanon, though. In the context of the sourcebook itself, it seems to be more of an easter egg than a retcon.
