Introduction
« on: July 23, 2011, 07:44:45 pm »
Hey guys, this is our little sub forum to play around with.  If you guys don't mind posting here so I know that you can see it and everything and so that I know your handle.

Here's a couple of things you'll need to know:

You can create a spoiler tag by using [ spoiler ] and [ /spoiler ] but get rid of the spaces within the brackets.  It will look something like this:
Spoiler for Hiden:
This is a spoiler tag

The tag for rolling dice is [ roll ] and [ /roll ] but once again, you'll need to get rid of the spaces within the brackets.  Generally speaking, when rolling dice you'll just need to know how many dice you're rolling and what sides.  This is done with XdY formula.  So since we only use ten-sided dice, the "Y" variable will always be 10.   So the "X" variable is how many dice you're rolling.

So lets say you need to roll four dice, you would type [ roll ] 4d10 [ /roll ].  Note that when you roll dice, an anti-cheating measure kicks in that shows if you've tried to edit the post.  So do not edit posts that have rolls in them, for this reason make the roll in a separate post from the narrative post.

Haha nah you're more than welcome to.  I'm trying to get some of my friends that I used to campaign with on here so that we can start up again.  We're all kind of scattered across the country so campaigning has become too problematic.  We tried real-time with Ventrillo and a chat client, but it sucked.  Next stop: forums!

There's no big Pete yet Thom. Only if you screw up. He'll be waiting in the daylight filled prison cell for you.

That's Bubbles. He's a frisky kind of fellow. Big Pete prefers a different kind of setting.

Well no, it's because when you're told to blow bubbles, they're not referring to the water and soap kind.

Haha welcome welcome.  This is less about a campaign starting up and more about getting my friends acquainted with the board and getting all of them set up.  I have ideas forming for a campaign, but I fear I may be stretching myself too thin.
