I'm always happy when the new unofficial patch coming out but let me play a devil's advocate here.

-Was the rifles that badly imbalance? I only play Toreador hybrid so i don't know how much damage a 10fire 10per can do with it.
+Never notice wrong aura things, but a fix is always a good thing.
-Maze mausoleum? as in Giovanni's? That's quite far fetch to have it have anything to do with Patty to be honest. Care to elaborate?
+Dead dog bug fix is long awaited.
-Don't you think removing civilian humanity loss will break the overall feeling and mechanic of the game? Or this is referred to a specific location/person?
+Disable background music with Gary is a not a patch but i think a very wise decision. It might makes his cene even better.
? Infamous Skyeline bug? The one where we can open an airduct to get out of apartment in the final chapter? That's no bug, that's a feature. A pre-endgame free roaming

-Was the rifles that badly imbalance?

Maybe not for most people as they rarely use them, but from the stats they were as I got the damage calculation wrong.

+Never notice wrong aura things, but a fix is always a good thing.

This is in regard to the Confession dancer who had no aura at all and the Lasombra at the junkyard and the library who had the wrong one.

It's the mausoleum room in the Malkavian Maze and the connection to Patty should give some people a smile and an explanation too ;).

+Dead dog bug fix is long awaited.

I hope it actually works. This bug and the Skyeline-full-of-stuff-bug are so random they are really hard to fix!

-Don't you think removing civilian humanity loss will break the overall feeling and mechanic of the game? Or this is referred to a specific location/person?

This is only referring to some combat areas where it was added by the plus patch in the first place. Of course Masquerade areas behave the same as always!

+Disable background music with Gary is a not a patch but i think a very wise decision. It might makes his scene even better.

It will only be disabled the first time to get a better atmosphere with the piano music, as I changed the background to a unsused music piece from Rik Schaffer that is more dominant.

Ah, I didn't know that this is possible and thus don't know if recompiling the map fixed it. What I hoped to have improved upon is the Skyeline map being cluttered with strange models during long playing sessions...

Thanks for the input Wesp5!

Hmm... I'm actually quite fond of that. One instance that quickly comes into my mind was the homeless guy infront of the train station. Infact i wish there were more probability of humanity lost in the game, such as killing any security guards in the museum or the cops on the Ship(don't know if this is a thing cuz i never kill one) The humanity system was seriously underwhelming as it is but it's your decision.

I never do this long play session so, i never encounter this bug. Though i think i've heard it before that Antitribu mod has been plagued with this bug, that if you plays for too long in one session the game will start to go bonker. May be it's the same thing.

Also, no need to fix that Skyeline airduct thing. I even think it's there for conveniency incase the player haven't finished all the sidequests yet. It's a real neat feature.

Keep doing God Kaine's work!  :cometome:

Then you won't be dissappointed, because this guy and one civilian in each other similar situation will still cause a Humanity loss, so you shouldn't go on a killing spree! It's only that with several civilians you could reach a Humanity of 0 that couldnt be caught.

Mostly made this account to say how much I have enjoyed the Unofficial Patch. I am very eager to make a new playthrough with the most recent as well, but I wanted to point out a bug with character creation and the histories.

If you choose a history then go to the character sheet you obviously have your points rearranged into which history you'd like, with a Nosferatu and say the Baglady perk you change the priority of your skills, if you go back to the other page and choose a new history, it adds onto the history you've already chosen. So instead of the only having 3 points to spend in knowledge or skills, you know have 6. if you just go back and forth between the pages changing histories it accumulates and you can max everything out.

Sorry wasn't sure if this was a known bug or not, have only recently played the plus patch, and it's a strange one to explain.

Thanks for coming here to report this, but it is a well known, very old, but sadly unfixable bug. Jack will make a comment though, if you use it to boost your stats to show that we know about it :)!

That is funny. Sorry I wasn't sure about the base game honestly, I tried years ago to play it but was too buggy at times, taking a lot of the fun with it so I never tried again without the base Patch.

That stat boost thing is not a bug, it's a cheat feature intended by developers. If you use it Jack will even commented about you being a cheater before begin his actual dialog.

In that case I was the developer :)! As the histories were not included in the original game and I enabled them in the Unofficial Patch, I had to add a reaction to this cheat too ;).

Happened to me once. I just obeyed and started a whole new game without "doubling" the points. ;)

Thank you for the patch.... However I have had some issues since installing it.

1. Blood splatters on the ground are now red squares
2. If you go to santa monica beach, down the stairs to access the beach, and then try to leave, the door is now missing (no way back out)
3. Signs on the walls now have weird hashmarks and flash when walking by them

I haven't played with it much yet... but this kind of sucks for me. Hope you can assist in cleaning this up for me.

Did you start a new game after updating the patch? Also did you start the game via the patch shortcut?
