Repaired small issues in warrens and hospital maps by recompiling.
Fixed critical bug when talking to Zhao from the shelves outside.
Unified formatting of newspaper articles and improved GUI details.
Added toilet doors to a few maps and fixed minor dialogue issues.
Fixed Presence hair and cleared Disciplines before more cutscenes.
Covered level holes in observatory, Red Dragon and Venture Tower.
Fixed vanishing details downtown, at Ocean House, and in cemetery.
Added missing monster sounds reacting to Dementation disciplines.
Made the patch copy all bin files into main folder to fix crashes.

+Improved snatching cutscene and made museum outside a combat area.
+Fixed an ignoring-Sabbat-ending issue and sneaking out with Kiki.

Wesp, in the Santa Monica clinic you have lost the side exit to the alley. And the new toilet door you have added would lead into the alley if you could open it. Well, further down there is the pissing guy, but I don't know... :taunt:

There are rooms above this door as well, so it's the usual inside/outside problem :)! But I'll move it beside the elevator and move that a bit too, so it won't clip into the mortuary anymore.

I'm playing with the new patch aswell and I noticed those bugs in the clinic too.

The way you change the Mcgee quest is amazing, but you have to update the quest journal. It still states Gimble is the one who called us.

I'm not sure if this is a bug or not, but when Phil enters the room where Lilly is kept tied, the subs says Scrubs: xxxxx and it should say Phil: xxxxx

BTW, there is one new additional door in the second floor of the clinic (just when you open the first door upstair, at your left). That door cannot be opened and doesn't match the scenary.

I think is intentional.

Phil's voice was done by Robin Atkin Downes. Phil sounds a lot like Trip (another RAD character), except his voice is pitched a bit higher.

The "Phil" who walks into check on Lily, however, has a lower voice, and speaks with a British or Transatlantic accent. Maybe they were supposed to be different characters but were merged in development (and the two voices were kept). Maybe it was a different voice take which they forgot to replace with a new voice.

Anyway they certainly don't sound like the same person, so I think "Phil" #2 was changed to "Scrubs" to sort of suggest they're different people.

On the other hand, I think Vandal complains that you just killed Phil, so who knows.

This is indeed intended but for another reason than what IanW surmised. You can kill Phil before this scene happens and then another scrub will enter!

That is one of the toilet doors that I added to several maps. As I moved the one below I might do the same here, but I'm not yet sure as the next room is outside the building as well...

Then working on the cinematic camera you can show Lily jumping off screen, then in the next frame Lily drinking one of the scrubs and the other already dead with a slash on the neck.

You didn't understand. The player can kill Phil before he finds Lily, so only then the other one will appear!

BTW, I have now moved the breakroom at the clinic so the geometry will fit in the outside of the building.

First things first: thank you again for your effort. All versions of UP I played (10, 15?) were relatively bug-free and in good taste. Happy to get a new one this month :) Couple questions:

No. Granting an extra starting point in Protean breaks the warform behaviour, so I had to change these histories to longer durations or lesser costs.

I don't know. But prolonging the duration didn't fit to the animation so I fixed that...

More "vendors" = better :) Not that I hoard car stereos and stuff, but backpedaling to Larry every damn time was getting tedious.

They are not vendors, they will only take specific items connected to their quests that can't be sold.

No, I never use the histories and only ever fix them if someone reports a problem or similar...

Speaking of which, has anyone ever get the "dialog history" to work? It doesn't work for me!

The guard doesn't sound any different at all. What was/is suppose to be different to the earlier version?

I didn't check for errors. Probably nothing important. I just wanted to mention it in case there had been map changes that might have caused it.

You should be able to open it with the key you define, but I can't remember ever doing it...

Update: I figured it out :)! This only works when the original dialogue window is still open.

Since UP10 our team had noticed the scene does not distinguish Bill/Phil anymore. now it's scrub only. I remember this working fine with sound\character\male\blue_blood\Bill/Phil and now it seems to take only sound\character\male\blue_blood\ lip files into consideration. Is that how it's intended?

On another note there was once option to save tutorial guard no to be killed and if he was sent to the other room Humanity loss triggered. Now there is no Humanity loss, is that intended?

On yet another note our tester visited Museum map after quest as these were open but he couldn't find any exit. Where would that be?

Do you remember the vanishing guy behing the clinic in SM?
Could the sabbat vampire model be replaced with "The Cathayan" model? I mean, it would have more sense since Knox tell us about he being watched by this vampire and him vanishing once he got close.

I guess the model should be removed once the quest if finished if we haven't been close to it before. Can that be done?

I couldn't locate any vcd file associated with comfort_5_wesp.lip and flee_4_wesp.lip which are taken into consideration during the scene. Not even in vanilla pack files. I remember those Bill and Phil folders with lip files were working previously though maybe my mind is playing tricks on me.

I'm not so sure myself, but I think I wanted to copy the right files over depending on whether Phil or Bill was needed but I couldn't find the needed Python code for that anywhere, even in older patches. So probably something didn't work and I forgot about this...

There are reports there is no stat gain effect displayed over HUD when obtaining Weekapaug Thistle or Heart of Eliza and possibly other occasions...

Isn't this something achievable via traiteffects files? Maybe it's worth noting it is possible to translate the traiteffects but the wrding must match in both files.

Both of these items directly affect a feat and not a stat and this should be the reason you don't get a HUD feedback.

When Chunk is dead his brother takes place in Ventrue Tower lobby.
All his lip subtitles have Chunk's Brother speaker_name (sound/character/dlg/downtown la/chunk3/*.lip) apart from one that is displayed when trying to use his PC - in that case sound/character/dlg/downtown la/chunk2/line621_col_e.lip is used which has Chunk speaker_name just as all chunk2 lip files.

Is this something fixable? In a map file?

In this case yes, in "chunk3/line621_col_e.vcd" the NPC line must be changed to "character/dlg/downtown la/chunk3/line621_col_e.wav".

Okay, here is the fix for the Ji problem:

You might be laughing now, but I use Wordpad as my main editor and it can't even number the lines! Anyway, open disciplinetgt_004.txt, search for Theft, then scroll down to this bit:

I believe you're talking about npctemplate012.txt file right? My bad, I see you're talking about disciplinetgt_004.txt. Should both basic and plus versions be altered? So in that case only plus one.

Btw, I am closer to crying than laughing when I imagine how painfully hard and tedious you make your life working like this.

What the hell? I have no idea which section are you talking about. The only "Hengeyokai" occurence in disciplinetgt_004.txt goes like this:

Hi

I plan to replay VtM:B on Halloween and because I tired to fumble with cd's I want to buy it on GOG. But I heard they censored some cutscenes, is it restored/fixed in UP ?
Second question, I've Oculus VR headset, does anyone tried it with VtM:B? How FoV, general look and feel?

I don't believe GOG ever censored anything, but in the original game the European release had some violence censored and overall the developers themselves had to censor some sexual content for the US. Rest assure that all this has been restored in UP plus!

I have no idea but would be very interested in your impressions and if this is possible at all. I ran it long ago with 3D goggles and there were some issues in the bigger hub maps, because Troika cheated and e.g. skyscrapers are in a seperate part of the map in a much smaller scale and while this fits well in 2D it was quite visible in 3D. VtM:B based on Half-Life 2, so technically it shouldn't be difficult. About FoV (horizontal and vertical), perspective, etc., it remains to be seen.

Don't they refill blood  on leaving the hub map and re-entering anyway?

So you have to resurrect them because you can't remove the corpse. Then set "OnDeath" a variable G.ClubnameDoll_Dead, and if the variable is set, hide her OnMapload.

You're right, hiding a map entity at a certain time after an event is easy. The problem here is that the corpse is no longer a map entity, so it's not possibe to target it with a script.

Well, anyway.. if there is no trick available I think it is far more elegant and believable that the doll on the floor is not killed (if humanity loss is not involved) and just passed out. Even better if they get revived after a while but with almost empty blood pool.

Funny thing happened today in the beachhouse. This time I started an open attack by provoking Brian. Killed most of them without trouble, but Dennis acted funny. I went through the kitchen and he went at the same time into the small corridor that leads to the kitchen and bathroom. Then I took the astrolite and went out through the broken door, and Dennis just stood there with the back turned to me and didn't react even though I wasn't sneaking.
Plus I heard some voice, couldn't tell what it was saying or whose it was in the house after they were all dead. And when I approached the stairs to leave someone shouted "Who's there?" or some other of these float lines. Maybe a thinblood on the beach? One of them, I think Copper, couldn't see clearly at the distance, stood in fighting position.

On another matter, I have two suggestions for the Ocean House. There are two liftbuttons that have the standard "switch" icon. Better use the up-arrow or up-down-arrow icon there. Ground floor and first floor on the elevator you can't use.
And I think you should remove the outer doorknob on room 210, where you exit after picking up the locket.

it happens sometimes,flames wont effect anything you can reload the game however but even that wont work sometimes and you must reload several times to make it work.

Just a question which is not directly related to version 10.1: Is the Humanity loss is intended when you kill the zombies summoned by Bruno? I am almost sure that you do not lose Humanity in UP+ 9.5 but in UP+ 10.0 you lose or at least in my case. And yes I didn't play with UP+ 9.6, 9.7, 9.8 and 9.9, so I don't know when this change exactly happen.

i faced it when killing zombies in cemetery when there was a lot of reloads involved problem was most of times they just didn't catch fire.
i think too its impossible to fix however the fact that even a reload can't solve it makes things hard.

I can't remember changing anything there and wasn't even aware that he vanished. There is a dema_hide_trigger but I would assume it's only after he leaves the office...

Just a few ideas....

Carrying bodies: the warren nosfy, if you save him he is too exhausted to move, you drag him to safety in the Nosfy lair and he rewards you. Because new animations is not an option it can be worked around: once the road is clear, you get back, use carry body, screen blacked out, jump sequence to the big door or directly to the lair. The icon shows carrying a nosfy-ish body....
Staking: the Grout sequence
Dice rolls: gambling mini game in the Empire Hotel?
Botching stuff: no idea what it is

Stats: no idea, maybe one thing or two but not much else without breaking up the mechanics

Disciplines: no reason to change them

Items: maybe only the electronic lockpick which adds the lockpicking feature, otherwise nothing at all

Weapons: Armsel Striker is a must (specially if it replaces that SPAS-15, I hate that gun!!), Plus the dual Sig seems beautiful, but without the proper animations can be a problem....

Mapping: no idea

Models: these animations seems promising, the friendly batswarm I don't know, those models maybe are redundant....

Textures: can you post those here (or tell us where they are in the archives)? Just to see what can be done with them....

Other: the old interface/HUD can be used in the multiplayer mode, the other things wherever those can be placed

Both are stat features, like you get a dice roll as in PnP with a chance to botch it up.

Double pistols are out of the questions because of missing animations and triggers. But theoretically someone could make a new model for the SPAS-15 to make it look like the Striker.

Yeah, there are like three dogs and one cat in the entirety of Bloodlines. Animal Ken wouldn't be very useful in most situations, unless you wanted to summon nearby rats for you to feed on.

Yeah, there are like three dogs and one cat in the entirety of Bloodlines.

And all of these were added by the UP in the first place! Yes, Animal Ken could have been made to work and more animals could have been added, but without it on the character sheet it makes no sense. As for Athletics, using console commands from Python would have made it possible to make the player move faster and jump higher, but besides the latter's problems with unsuitable level design, again no-sheet-no-deal. Also I think the old HUD is used at least partly in the Antitribu Mod, is it not?

Wesp, have you done something with the warrens4 map for rc2? I couldn't trigger the levelchange to the Nossies and my character landed in some slop pool instead. I've reloaded and tried again three times in case I just missed the trigger in my first jump.

Yes, sadly this is a bug of RC2 which my beta tester overlooked as he used the warrens shortcut. I already fixed that in the RC3 though, you could try installing that on top!

Well that's dissapointing. I love being able to customise my game during the installation and I do not get why must I suffer and do this manually now. Also I am curious if you fixed blood dolls/tremere 2nd outfit hairbones.

Besides people all the time asking what these options are in the first place, I noticed that especially with old disciplines in the plus patch new issues were created which basically would mean I'll have to maintain another kind-of-mixed branch and I am not willing to do that!

It's not that easy. I had to manually remove the casting animations from the disciplinetgt files. I have tried with a Nossie using animalism in RC2.

Have you fixed the poster quest for RC3? In RC2 the conditions for the first poster don't match.
The hackfile (havenpc) requires a variable G.PQ which isn't set anywhere. The mailboxexitcheck script uses the variable G.CD == 1. But since G.CD is set to 2 when you finish the Bertram cd quest, that only works before you give Bertram his cd.
I think you best check for G.CD > 0 in both, the hackfile and the script.

Nope, this parts not moving as they moves on other tremer outfits. Just try to rotate her model on character screen in different outfits and you wil see the difference.

Is it possible to make in installer options' group (LEGACY: For oldfags, use for your own risk, NO SUPPORT) for these deleted options? Many gamers don't like new things for atmosphere changing reasons but like other new content. It is in Russian community but I think it is the same in others. Top "don't like" are disciplines (Malkavian, Ventrue + Auspex), changed music and Therette dialogue (nearly all want to save them both but many can't do it and must use console).
More "don't like" are BloodHeal and lowered regeneration (makes the game slower and less dinamic), Patty sire and his licence (not canon, it was mystery in 1.2), sound floats (people touch us behind themselves then say "don't touch me" or so, LOL; we had meditative silent atmosphere in original but now people cough and sigh all time), less money, eyes (I know it is top addon but...), idle animations (like they have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder).
I had arguments for such angry users (as another user and moderator) earlier - that all of it is optional but now... These arguments are gone. I personally think that it is time to make the third version of patch - with things which change gameplay, atmosphere and canon story. Almost all love new locations, quests and additional non-linearity but many dislike all those things above...

No no no! Maintaining two patches is already difficult enough, if people don't like the plus changes they should play the basic patch. I can't and won't make thousands of options only because some people like this and others like that! The whole plus patch is just my vision on how Bloodlines might have looked if Troika had more time, so either take it or leave it...

Thanks Wesp5. I appreciate you getting back to me and also all the work you've done on the unofficial patch over the years. It's easy for us to forget what you've put in and to moan about small plus patch changes we don't like.

Can I please just confirm that all I need to do to get the no new audio option is to copy "Vampire The Masquerade - Bloodlines\Vampire\sounds" folder from the basic patch to the plus version? I only ask as I wasn't sure what the reference to "schemes" meant.

Sadly no. This was the second game breaker in RC2! I have no idea how this happened but RC3 works fine...

Mmh.... You are on Windows 10? I have absolutely no direct experience with that. As far as I've managed to understand that Defender Smartscreen is the default antivirus. I have found this guide on how to temporarily disable it BUT you should check these things before to do that:
- that you have another antivirus active (no antivirus bundled with any operative system is foolproof....)
- that you've downloaded the patch from Patches Scrolls or ModDB (and it downloaded perfectly)
- that you are offline

PLUS I WANT TO SAY THIS: I'M NO EXPERT IN THIS THINGS, IF SOMEONE IN THIS THREAD CAN CONFIRM WHAT I COPIED AND PASTED DOWN HERE IS CORRECT IS REALLY HELPFUL, THANKY :)

Said that, here's the guide:

Windows 10 is a pain in the ass. When windows 7 will be terminated as xp I'll switch to linux

I looked at the blue window that popped up, and I didn't see a place for 'more details' should I just go on with working around it?

Also in the Virus and Threat Protection place, I don't see where I can toggle off Windows Defender? It only has the option to turn of Periodic scanning sooo am lost.

I don't think so, it does the usual stuff. Maybe some additional features are active on her Defender, like internet control? I know that Avast blocks The Patches Scrolls as it deems it too small and unknown. Maybe the W10 defender thinks similar?

But as we are in the subject, some dumber questions: what does changes between an installer vs an archive (apart the obvious advance of automatically point the patch to the right place)? Would help an archive and inside a little program who takes the files in the archive and install them? Or one of those installers who can be opened with winzip/winrar/7zip/whatever and give the chance of a manual installation and/or retrieve one single file?

Installers are most of the time much better compressed, like a solid archive, so there is no way to extract single files.

Last question: have you thought of github? If it's possible, the option to download only updates from one version of the patch to another can be a huge help. Plus it seems to be a perfect service for programming something like this. As usual here is the quilt patch/mod for college in both the new version of UP and CQM as well as 'all clan quests for CQM' as well as 'forced max hunters in hollywood'. It applies only on linux if you have quilt installed cause i don't want to bother complicating updates.

You can disable the hunters or the 'all clan quests' part by deleting the corresponding diff file prior to application.

CQM 4.0 *still* has some critical bugs from 3.1 which are solved by 'CQM bugs' diff file (most notably a bug on the nosferatu (i think) clan quest which might make the quest incompletable and screw up other hotel quests (because the script setup function errors out because of a null reference), and one that might cause Bertram to think you're always starting the warehouse part of the game when you're there much later.

Sorry I was MIA for a bit there, went to a Halloween Party with some friends.

I clicked on 'More Info' it told me to run anyway. I think that made it work.

Mmh.... I'm really considering doing my version of the arsenal mod. While I loved some of the new guns I preferred some of the vanilla (only a few of the melee weapons got my interest). Plus I can add this Stryker and some other extra stuff. But I shouldn't make steps longer my foots, specially I'm still trying to land previous steps longer my leg :razz:

To see if the patch is active go to the main menu, the options then browse the last sheets (video, visual and gameplay). In one of these should be the text "unofficial patch" and even the patch version (I'm going by memory, I haven't my pc here....)

Regarding the haven pc, it should look as this:

Possible solutions (highly guessing):
- did you use the default installing path?
- did you start the game by the desktop icon "VTM Unofficial Patch" or another one?
- did you tried using administration rights on this icon?
- did you changed video settings in the options?
- have you installed the game (not the patch) in a folder where you have full privileges (like the user folder)?
- are you sure you have the minimum requisites for the game? (Even if you have a windows 10, it's still possible that's the case: for example some modern laptops are designed not for gaming but for simpler tasks)

I finished my VR playthrough and must say that Bloodlines in VR is playable and quite fun. Some brief notes:
- Head tracking is glitchy, had to disable (most likely vorpx 8.3 bug)
- Textures and models shows they age (for some reason this is more noticeable than on monitor)
- Third person gameplay somehow uncomfortable
- Haunted hotel is spooky
- Some geometry problems in downtown and chinatown, but it's tolerable
- The FoV, movement speed and usual issues with old games mostly avoided because of existing vorpx profile

I add one jiggle bone to the hair of the tremere girl armor1 (the bone was already there, i make it jiggle)

At first i use one of the boobs bones for the hair but if we try the money command only one boob  will get big. So i add one more jiggle bone to the set.

The mdl is below.  Wesp can use it for the patch no need to ask.  I have use the mdl from the patch101rc3.

Sorry I have not been in. I checked, and the game when I looked in the menu didn't have the Patch on it at all.

In regards to my GPU, I have no idea where to find that, but I can play Overwatch, so I think its rather good.

I downloaded the patch, I put it in the steam folder, but I don't see where I could start the game with the patch.

I mean the conversations about the baleen whale, the 'pirate' symbol and the two other. The last three you should hear during the difficult path. I'm using UP+ 10.0 but I suppose that the situation is the same in 10.1.

I clicked on 'More Info' it told me to run anyway. I think that made it work.

She/he sayd she/he installed it. In that case there should be a link on the desktop called "VTM Bloodlines Unofficial Patch" or something like that. If steam won't let you start the game without using steam you should add the launch command wesp said up here

I have been getting crashes when going in to the hospital in any door within santa monica, hopefully this fixes it, seems like its just my game.

EDIT: The crashes occurred with 10.0.

EDIT 2: I downgraded back to 9.7 from 10.0 and the crash in the hospital was fixed. Did you patch this with 10.1? Didn't see it with the patch notes. I haven't tried 10.1 yet, I suppose I could do that.

EDIT 3: I upgraded to 10.1 and the same issues still occur, here are all the screens and info for you.

Got tired of doing edits...

So I started a new game to troubleshoot, it appears it's my save game causing the issues, do you have any ideas for a fix on my side Wesp? Regarding the crash error I received, I could care less about the missing textures in the apartments.

Also it seems all the NPC civilians, and I mean ALL of them are vampires, they growl every time I bump in to them too. When they die they turn to ash. Was this on purpose, or is my game save all kinds of messed up?

I found out the problem. Whenever you load a save on Elizabeth Dane you can't activate the conversations anymore. Also the radius of activation is quite short so increasing of the activation radius will be nice.

Everything you reported points to you continueing an old save with an updated patch. You should never do that!

I have just tested killing the blooddolls beacuse I'm going to write a script to remove them if you killed them on you last visit in the club.
The hostess in the Red Dragon and Misti in Vesuvius act the same way the dolls did before your changes: They are dead and the body stays.
I haven't tested the other people in the Red Dragon becuase the hostess is the only one you can drain out of sight.
If you kill Misti I'd suggest closing Vesuvius for the player and failing any open VV quest.

On another note, if you kill the doll in the smoke shop, you get a criminal violation and the shopkeeper shoots you, but when you leave the cops are not hostile. Maybe you could in that case set the player's criminal level high enough to make the cops hostile and spawn the backup.

In the Final Nights mod when you are in the diner during the jeanette/therese quest the cops are outside when you walk out (it was also fun being in there, trying to survive with the tension of the increasing sound effects of the incoming cops). Try ask Zer0morph or looking at his mod to see how he did it and if it can work outside other doors

This was already in the original game and I know how to add cop cars and stuff outside if needed, only I don't remember the trigger condition. As for Misti, I think it's easier for now to make her come back like the dolls...

For the doll-removing script, that shouldn't be too hard. You make her reappearing as you have done now plus you set a variable G.Doll_Name_Dead as OnDeath condition. Then on the next visit you check the Doll_Dead variable and if it is set, you kill the entity.

For the cops at the smokeshop, it's not necessary to create and spawn cars, just set the criminal level for the player to 3 or so to make the existing cops hostile.
I'll test something and come back to you.

I didn't think about that. Definitely worth a try.
In any case the script is simple and works for me. I had to add a new script to the smokeshop, for the other locations I just hitched it to an existing mapload script

There is a command __main__.FindPlayer().SetCriminalLevel(3). You can use that on the map or in a python script to set the criminal level of the player to the set value. This makes police (and gangmembers) hostile and civilians afraid until it wears off after some time. I think you can set a supernatural level the same way if you want to force a masquerade issue, but I haven't tested that yet.
For the smokeshop, so far my tests are inconsistent.

Btw, how do you make the dolls respawning?

This is getting ridiculous. Can you do a new install wizard frame moving the existing save games to a 'backup' and saying why?

On the contrary, closing Vesuvius when you kill there (or any other 'haven' that doesn't behave like one), makes total sense, because the pc wouldn't want to show its face there again.

I think the only reason this doesn't happen in the original is because of Asylum being part of the main quest.

Ideally it could be worked around by making the blooddolls immortal and the pc just not gain any blood from keeping draining a spent one (as if the pc 'decided to stop' by itself) and turn on the 'haven flag' so combat couldn't be initiated (if it isn't already).

I already do! I move old saves into an "old" subfolder and show a warning popup right after installation of the patch. It seems a lot of people just don't care...

It could just have been an accident as you can only kill there by over-draining someone. Still I made VV being pissed and all her active quests having failed!

there was another problem in cutscene for me after killing the sire a scream sound plays which i think it shouldn't be there or if it's intended then it should play out just when the sword cut his/her head off not with few seconds of delay when prince is talking

I already tried the camera angle and don't remember if I tried this as well. I may try if I have some time...
As for the scream, I have no idea. Is this reproducible? I don't think that the Sire is supposed to scream!

As for the scream, I have no idea. Is this reproducible? I don't think that the Sire is supposed to scream!
when you kill a vampire the vampire turns into ash with a scream sound effect it seems the turn to ash and scream sound effect are connected and act as one file now when you kill the sire after a short delay we have the turn to ash animation and sound effect which plays out cause sire just dies like anyother vampire in game.
i think the scream part should be cut off and the turn to ash sound effect be left out for sire's death however i don't know if this is possible.

It works fine for me, but the date of the warrens4 map file must be 23.10. and you need to start from a save outside of course.

Yes, I just recently made the RC3 to be the final, as it fixed the main game breakers of RC1 and RC2 and we are already deep into 10.2 with a lot of changes ;).

I have problems with the phone half the time.
Sometimes the phone icon won't show or momentarialy shows.

I save before I ease up to it and quickly interact when the icon shows.

Sounds like some basic/plus mixup. In basic it should be the cd, in plus the pull toy.

If no one else is experiencing this, it's entirely possible I made a mistake while merging Wesp's 10.1 haven_pc.txt with my X20 haven_pc.txt based on 10.0. In which case this is just me doing my own troubleshooting, and everyone else can ignore me. :)

About the dog: Once a NPC is killed the game can't access anything connected like the corpse or the hurt trigger. So I now remove this at half health and make the dog run away! You might still get the same problem if you kill him with the first hit...

About Milligan: He is set to cower when you enter the map, but if you leave and return he can't find the sequence and just stands there. He then can't follow with the leave sequence either, so I killed the cower sequence before the leave sequence is called.

just wanted to report that I've encountered two phone related bugs just in Santa Monica ( patch 10.1 )

a) in the tattoo parlor, Gimble simply won't call... am I supposed to be able to call him? There's no indicator for interaction (apart from the note on the wall), and no matter how much I mash the use button at the phone from different angles, nothing's happening. Is there a way to setquest() my way around this so that Gimble will let me in?

b) the phone in Surfside Diner does ring (when I'm supposed to meet the twins), but I can't pick it up - again, mashing it from different angles does nothing. (Neither does exiting and reentering the diner...)

Any tips on getting around these...?  :holy:

Oh, Wesp, it's a pretty minor thing, but the vending machines at the top of the Library elevator appear to have their lighting switched.

The yellow glow is coming from the purple (DemonSeed) machine, while the purple glow is coming from the yellow (13 Stimulants) machine.

One thing I need to ask. In the X20 Mod topic IanW said:

But to test the posters in the haven (without any posters mod) I used those cheats:

G.Gary_Voerman = 1
G.Velvet_Poster = 1
G.Gary_Photochop = 1
G.Gary_Damsel = 1
G.Gary_Tawni = 1
G.Gary_Imalia = 1
G.Gary_Blind = 1

while those posters appeared the quest log of the completed quest didn't come. I searched in the haven_pc.txt file and added those codes:

G.Ball_Taken = 3
G.Gary_Cross = 1
G.PP = 1

now the complete mission text appeared in the top left of the screen and the quest log in hollywood had the entry in completed quests "all posters unlocked" (or whatever was written). But as you can see in the image the Amped Up poster was still there. It's a bug, IanW made a mistake or did I used a code it wasn't suppose to?

Plus I want to know how (and if it's possible) to add a cheat list on a .cfg file in the "cfg" folder and activate it by the console

You are probably not using the final 10.1 but an earlier RC. In the final there is a poster of Claira Killenbach there, which is also in the DMP area...

Could you clarify this? We still having 8 posters as if I understand correctly but the chip is replaced in Kamikaze Zen so it is probably somewhere else? Also the braid talisman is still in Kamikaze Zen just Andrei don't drop a second one or is something else?

No, the nameplate is still there but the money that used to be there too.

Yes, this was a left over from before I moved the braid to Kamikaze Zen.

Not that long ago I poked in here asking if anyone could help me, but I left because of some stuff. I never got the patch to work, and I am wondering if anyone is willing to help me.
