Animal Ken, Athletics and Occult abilities

Will be  avery nice improve, alse more skills where you can spend points will be nice, because, this small number of skills makes that you can max almost all if you are a completionist...

Animal Ken purpose is obvious. Athletics I suppose will be for jumping and emcumbrance (not implemented), but I have no clue of the  Occult abilities purpose since you can identify magic items with scholarship, perhaps they thought about scholar for books, and occult for magic items...

Yeah, we tried hard to restore those, but there is no way to get them on the character sheet which makes it pointless.

EntenSchreck already kind of implemented this, but then there are only few animals in Bloodlines so it doesn't make much sense.

Again this would be easy to do with little actually gain, and higher jumping would show off unfinished higher map areas.

Occult was indeed meant for that, I improvised for the UP and made scholarship necessary instead :)!

I, it's me again. Well, Burgermeister spoke of allsequence and animations he add for Andrei but i have make my own one for the PC characters.

Meaning all PC can have the idle animations of the other PC or any mod you use for your character will have the idle animations of the clan you will play, automatically. And i add the gangrel male animations for the female  as a bonus.

Instructions are in the file, only two lines to add in the vamputil.py file in the UP. The shared folder replace the one in the UP. All animations found in the NPC_allsequence are in the new Allsequence.

And i tweak the female animation for the spell(vampiric spell) because of the neck again, in third person view (move_and_ranged).

Do I understand correctly that this only affects the specific clan random animations that EntenSchreck added for the patch? I will tell him about this then! Maybe he can use some of the others in the Prelude mod...

That's mean that all PC animations are available for for any character in the game.

If you install Janette skin to play a malkavian she will have your idle animation for the malkavian(in the UP+). If you change the animation of the gangrel female you could  choose the male gangrel animations for her or you could use the animation of the toreador like the hand in the hair.

People can change the user.cfg to change there animations clan. That's cool no?

All i know it's a chore for me to reinstall every time i change the UP. But i do it anyway because it's fun. But other people can not be as gifted to do this themselve.

Oh another thing, your IsIdling() routine look like it stop working around Chinatown and many time it's not restarting at a map load(maybe the game have to much to do at loading time) so i put IsIdling() in the plus patch routine. That routine is execute at every map load and solve my problem of animation and revealing occult.

I put G.No_Idle = 0 in the plus patch routine  too because for a reason i dont understand that value go to 1 stay to 1 and my animation stop working, again around Chinatown.

As i said i make the change myself at every new UP but it will be cool to have these in the UP already.

DDLullu, for keeping my personal changes when I update the patch I use WinMerge.
First i rename the unofficial_patch folder from the old version, then I install the new patch and then I run WinMerge to make the changes to the config files and scripts. Still a bit of work but at least you can find the differences fast.

Okay, I won't need this in the patch at the moment, but other modder might do.

Not entirely, currently there isn't many animals in the game so it dosen't make much difference though if a modder added more animals could be pretty useful for avoiding attack.

I have already put the file here look up!

And for the correction of IsIdling() i have put the procedure here in the picture. Very easy to do!
My animations and my occults get to work everytime with this.

well i like to see this in patch+ rather than modes if it was intended.however i only saw rats,one dog and one cat in the game and unless we add some dogs that walk in streets of downtown i don't know much what there is to be done regarding places to add animals.
any ideas?

I don't think this is still necessary since in v.10 the idle timer is no longer enabled and disabled by the idle scripts. If there are problems in Chinatown, maybe the timer on that map doesn't start enabled?

Oh! my bad, i don't have UP10 yet, i always wait a little before dowloading the patch.

And i have not see anywhere that was fix (a silent fix maybe) but when i try it, i watch for it in later level.
