Ocean Hotel Crash
« on: April 18, 2020, 06:42:00 AM »
Hello, i have been having this really annoying crash that i cant seem to bypass in any way i try, i have searched around a lil bit and found some ppl that had the same problem but none of them had a solution, before i give in and rage quit ill try asking for help here.
So i have been playing recently with the Unofficial patch 10.6 installed and everything its great till i get to the ocean hotel some sounds are missing sometimes but that doesnt matter to me tbh the real problem is the inmense recurence of crashes every time i try to be there, the fartest i could go was trying to take the boiler key which the game didnt let me take since none of the buttons worked to take the key or exit, not even menu buttons worked and the game just crashes there or in 2 minutes or so the game can also crash before i even get that far.
i have attached my crash report if it could help someone to give me a fix, i thank before hand anyone who tries to help me solve this.

Nobody really understand the crash log, but as vgui is prominent up there, what is your graphics cars and do you use some additional shaders?

If you have a weak laptop card I would recommend to not use the shaders in the patch extras, just the vanilla graphics!

I think you just need to delete the new files the shaders installed into the main folder...
