All you have to do is find a model on the internet and recompile it for Bloodlines. The model is a port from Gary's mod. The compiler is a HL2 compiler, it spit a version 48 model. I found it in a Spycho_A batch converter for Resurgence! The other ingredient is a converter for the VVD and VTXs to make a Bloodlines model!

I choose the Brujah female MDL for this. So my model get the squeleton, hitboxs, animations, etc from the Brujah female MDL, only the VVD part and the materials are modified to fit the new model.

For the hair i use the ponytail of Pisha. Add the jigglebone's data into the MDL by hand(for the hair and boobs), fix the eyes positions by trials and errors (wish i could use the compiler for this).

The converter is not perfect but for a PC model it's all right.

I dont knows if i could upload poisonivy model here but i make the Noshood from that thread:
https://forums.planetvampire.com/bloodlines-modding/i-need-help-with-modeling-(blender-compiling-model)/msg144163/#msg144163
since i have no smd i make one from the gangrel armor3 and nosferatu armor0, compile the thing, result in the attachment. So you'll know it works!

For the keen eye you will detect a bump in the arm of the nos when he's feeding. No problem, reload the smd in Blender(i use version 276).
I suspect the bip0 bone for doing this and i was right. Three vertices from the arm was control by it so a erase the selections for that bone, save the corrected smd and recompile. A perfect arm in game, i'm begining to like a compiler for Bloodlines.
Wow, sounds really complicated cos I never used compiler before. Yet it gives me hope that I would be able to drastically change pc models if I spent enough time to figure compilation process out.
Thanks for sharing this. You are surely a modding magician and your work is always a huge inspiration.

New shelve for Tseng!

The only complicated thing here would be the Qc (apart for doing change in the smd).

You only have to change (if necessary) the $modelname, $bodygroup and the $cdmaterials in the Qc file spit out by Crowbar!

So, for example, i recompile the rotating shelves of Tseng with the Anaconda and the Spas in it.

I made a video to show the guns jiggling and add the new models(plus Qc, Smd) in the attachments.

Have fun!

Wonderful! With your permission I will include this in the next UP version...

You have my permission, in fact i made this with the UP in mind. But one thing is a mystery for me, in the last UP update you include higher resolution for the textures in Tseng's shop and i had to erase the picture of the guns in the shelve so i don't know if that will conflict?

Just a thing, i have use the picture for positioning the real guns in the shelve, maybe that's what they want to do after all but did not do?

Animated shelf in UP plus, hi-res in UP basic

In fact one thing that must be fixed are low-res textures....

Psycho-A made that texture because he couldn't figure out the model, but I like your solution better and will keep it!

I have another problem that DDLullu might be able to fix! The armor0 female Tremere model has solid dark glasses, compared to the transparent ones of the other armor models. I have now fixed it for 10.5 so that all glasses are solid, but the other way around might even look cooler! Also it was reported that the back of her hair moves wrong in armor1...

If I remember correctly a fix to the blocked hairs in armor1 was attached on one post several months ago. Regarding the glasses I think making all of them transparent might be a nice touch.

I have redo the texture to include a transparent glasses plus a new MDL to go with it.(UV change)

And i have copy the armor2 data for the hair into armor1. That should make hair1 move the same as hair2.(not tested)

Fantastic, everything works fine now! I'll include it in the next UP. BTW, there is one last model missing to be restored, it's an old movie projector. The textures are objects\projector and objects\projector_wheel, but I think there is no model at all! Can you build one out of some other? The wheels already exist in scenery/furniture/stage_props/reel01.mdl and reel02.mdl if that helps. Also did you ever manage to fix the mobile animations for random NPC on the street? Or the smoking animations? Like phones and cigarettes not vanishing...

Mmh, where can the projector be placed?
I would put it in the nossie or tremere haven (instead of their tv....) :vampwink:

It should be in the filming area of the Netcafe, or if it is too big, at the Chinese Theater. Although I would need to add a projection room there then.

I finally got some experience with decompiling/compiling source models (did some things for left 4 dead 2) and now tried to compile some characters to VTM:B, but I didn't get which settings should I use in Crowbar to make it work.
DDLullu, can you please share your Crowbar settings with me?
