Getting it to run
« on: September 14, 2008, 03:48:00 am »
First off I apologize if this has been done before but I couldn't get the search function to work correctly and I really don't feel like sifting through several pages of topics. I have just bought a new laptop and spec wise it blows my old laptop out of the water. I could play Bloodlines fine enough on my old comp but I cannot even get it to start on my new one.

Before anyone asks I am running Vista and the processor is a dual core. I have tried running the game as an administrator and in compatibility mode for service package 2. I have also downloaded the patches.

Every time I start the game the screen goes black for a second and then I get the message that says vampire.exe has stopped working. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.
