Current hardware- performance problem
« on: November 03, 2007, 10:58:00 am »
                Hi from Greece.
I had problems  (performance wise) running Vampire : Bloodlines before, with my old machine (P4, Radeon 9800Pro 1Gb Ram), but this is getting ridiculous!!!
I now have AMD 6000, Radeon X1950Pro and 2 Gb of DDR2 RAM and the game is still verry choppy at most places (Santa Monica...)at 1024*768!!!I have installed the 1.2 oficial patch and the unoficial patch but didn;t help.
I can run Crysis at that resolution on High super smoothly!!!How badly coded this game can be?

Or am i missing something here? Is there some optimization i should make?

I understand this is a great game and i intend to insist on playing it, but please give me some guidelines to avoid the headache of choppy- low frames

 Many thanks in advance!
