i know is crappy but is the one i have, it`s a Intel(R) 82945G Express Chipset family

That may be the reason. Try appending -dxlevel 80 to your game shortcut...

Hi!
I get this bug where I'm running forward after I have stopped pressing the forward key. This is an old problem and when my discs still functioned I solved it by running the game in compatibility mode (right-clicking the "vampire" icon in the "Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines" folder and running the game in windows 98), but that just gives me an error "Cannot allocate 500.00 Mb" now that I have the Steam version (I can't run the game from that vampire icon, now that the game is played through Steam). I'm running the game with CQM 2.1 (with arsenal and histories mod), nothing else. How do you fix that bug for the Steam version?

Edit: Found this while searching this thread a bit more:

 This works for some people:
 
 Click CTRL+ALT+DEL
 Select Task Manager
 Select the Processes tab
 Find Bloodlines and right-click on it
 Set Priority to BelowNormal                        <p> </p>

Going to try it.

Update: No, it didn't work. I set vampire.exe to "below normal" priority and my character still ran forward for a few seconds after I stopped pressing the forward key. It doesn't happen very often, but it's annoying when it does.

Ok here are some bugs i have found in 7.3:

First door you go through, do not get the message on how to open it and doesn't enable the door to be opened
Work around: approach it while crouching

Bug with Downtown(Abandoned building) - when you talk to the bum the game remains in "cinematic mode" and you cannot move or save
Work around: force a frenzy from the console

Occasionally while on the Elizabeth Dane, after completing all the objectives, the game will not allow you to take your boat back to Santa Monica
Work around: reload from a game prior to reaching the Elizabeth Dane ship

Bug with "Dirty dishes" quest as stated here: planet-vampire.org/forum/index.php?topic=5328.0
Fix is mentioned there too!

I know this door is a bit slow sometimes, I just wait a bit until the icon appears. I suspect this happens if you cut Jacks dialogue short to speed up the game.

This is a known issue that can't seem to be fixed. Therefore the frenzy solution is already mentioned in the Unofficial Patch readme.

I've never had that bug myself so I can't say anything about it. Are you sure you got everything you needed from the Dane?

Your patch normal version make any differencies in the game ? If that makes I have an advice . I think you move all of them Plus version . This thing make better your patch for vanilla gamers . And what is better with your patch to true patch ? and which bugs left in the game ? Thanks all of the dozens ;)

Clan quest still has them. BTW i found the reason for those method not found messages that sometimes appear when you load a level. The maps themselves appear to call (missing? didn't check) python methods of the packages before the respective python file is even loaded. It can be "fixed" by putting those methods (empty) in a __init__.py file in the respective directory, though if this is a good idea or not, i'm not sure.

My basic patch does not make any inappropriate changes to the game. But sometimes people have different opinions on whether something is a fix or a feature. One example, having an enemy spawn in a room where he can't get into is a bug to be fixed in my opinion. Some people may think otherwise.

Everything of course ;)! No, fun aside, whatever you think about the philosophy of the different patches, my one contains much more fixes than the True Patch. Just compare the patch readmes by yourself. Also my patch restores a lot of hidden content, even in the basic version. Like unused dialogue lines or icons or models. Nothing gameplay changing though, that is plus patch only like new disciplines, new weapons and new quests. Everything still based on original unused content though.

Ok I want to apologize to you . I want to promise to you . Because Tessera saids many things to your patch . like it's change to game . It's not a patch mod etc. but I saw somethings . Your patch continue to fix something , actively . Your patch is more bigger . Please explain me to details and stop my confuse :(

I don't know what you want from me. The list of fixes is much too long to be posted here. But I posted the restored stuff below so you know what you will miss when you play with any other patch:

I have a suggestion to you . This is the most communitys suggestion also .
Would you make a bare bone patch ? (only bug fix anything change in the game like restored content vs)
Many many friend in my community like your fixes but wants not changed anything :(
