Maybe bosses should throw away slap-like your flamethrowers as you attempt to use on them (it can also work as a motivational mechanic to use it in regular fights :razz:)

I'm playing through the "final" version of 10.3 and figured I'd report the following stuff:

I got stuck "inside" the Lily chair at the blood bank when she ran out of the room and it wouldn't let me out. I loaded my save and went through the cutscene again and it worked.

As a female character, Romero offers to have sex with my character OR I can get him a girl. If you choose to do the graveyard zombie quest first, you can talk to him again and offer to get him a girl...but you can't offer to have sex with him even though you could make that offer before doing the zombie quest.

After doing the zombie quest, you talk to Romero in the Hollywood map and as soon as he leaves the Hollywood map and you get control of your character, I could not move. Even the noclip console command wouldn't let me move (yes it was working as I tried it elsewhere and I could pass through walls/"fly" just fine). That's reeeeeeeally annoying after surviving the five minute zombie quest.

Ash's pathing to get up the ladder in the sewers is really bad. I had to spend about 2-3 minutes just moving back and forth trying to get him to go up the ladder to the end of the level. Maybe make it so that after the last hunter is dead, you can talk to him wherever he is to trigger the end of the level in case he gets stuck?

In the library quest, the journal entries of Scott states "vampires" instead of "Kindred." When speaking to someone as old as Beckett, it would seem he would say "Kindred" instead of "vampires." Just seemed really weird for a non-fledgling Kindred to state.

That's everything I can think of so far. I'm pausing for the night (I have to be up to get ready for work in 3 hours), but I'm entering the library and doing Mitnick's and Gary's side quests. After that, it's off to China Town. :D

Random bugs like this are impossible to fix.

Must have been another random but, as it seems you did continue the game.

This wouldn't work as the camera would either zoom through whatever is between onto his face or players would have to go to him.

I'm not so sure. I see Scott as a younger vampire himself, more of the easygoing kind. But I will think about this...

Can´t you anything to improve this?
Its really bad and annoying when Ash pathfinding KI didn`t work.
Maybe chance the ladder with something else?

Speaking of Scott does he the same model even if you played as male gangrel?

I can look if there is an obvious problem with the ladded nodes but otherwise not really. There is a reason why Troika made the AI themselves and people avoid missions in which NPCs are following you ;).

Most escort mission sucks but this quest works fine up to the ladder.
To be fair Ash eventually finds his way up to the ladder but sometimes it took really long.
In my opinion this is an annoying problem that would be worth to have a closer look.

That's what I suggested above, but I fear some players will then not know what to do or where they lost Ash ;). As for the ladder, the correct nodes are there, so I don't know how I could improve on that.

I would suggest that first you close the second door / passageway to the sewers after the player and Ash pass through it.
This limits the finding space.
For your main problem would an updating questmessage help?
"You kill all of the Hunters. Return and talk to Ash".

Its more than enough if you can change his red shirt for example in a blue/green shirt.

Actually I won't do anything about this. I just tested it and Ash climbed the ladder on the first try! But a hunter got stuck on a corner and I could kill him easily. I think there is no way to ever get rid of these AI issues and people lived with Ash like this for 15 years!

P.S.: I tried to recolor Scott but it looks horrible, so I will keep him as well. At the time no player Gangrel should run around in first level armor anyway...

Alright, I finished the game tonight! Here are the things I figured I'd comment on:

I was a female Tremere, and when I switched Havens, although Heather came to my new Tremere haven, at no point did she ever have any new dialog. The last thing I did with her in the Santa Monica haven was she brought the guy over in the bathroom with the red jacket and I talked to her about him and said it was nice to come home finding dinner waiting (or some such friendly line. I opened the door, saw the guy in the bathroom, but DID NOT speak to him or feed from him, and did not speak to Heather again. Then I got my new haven and she never had new lines to the best of my recollection, despite me stopping in after every main quest.

I must have missed a dialog option earlier in the game that's necessary to choose Strauss in the ending? I don't know. I asked him about the prince and chose any persuasion options (I had stupidly high persuade during the whole game) that were available. I did the Plague for the Angels quest, I did the gargoyle quest and got the haven, and I did NOT betray his confidence by telling Isaac where the gargoyle came from. Hell, just to be sure I was on Strauss' good side, I destroyed the gargoyle so that it wouldn't be helping the anarch cause. Getting to the end and not getting to pick the ending you want despite being his bitch the whole game is pretty annoying.

Is the werewolf ending new or was it in the game at launch? I love it. XD

Yay, I'm in the credits and can show the people I care about so they'll know I'm worth the air I breathe. :D

That's the problem right there! The game waits for you to deal with the guy and if you don't you only get to that dialogue section. Was he moved to the new have as well or did you loose him when moving? Anyway, I have build in a fail safe now for stupid things like this ;)!

The only conditions for that are G.Regent_Pissed != 3 and G.Regent_Introduced == 1 and G.Isaac_Please == 0, but you need to talk about the Anarchs with Caine first, which is a little bit confusing. I have added some more lines for the Camarilla ending there now...

That was already hidden in the game files, but I had to restore it :)!

Haha, I'm still finding stuff that needs fixing after all these years...though I didn't have to list dozens and dozens of issues on a page in tiny handwriting to report on a single run of the game like I used to. It's so close to "perfected" (as far as is possible, anyway).

What?! Seriously? I specifically didn't talk about the Anarchs with him because I was 100% not wanting to join the Anarchs and wanted to be sure I could join the Camarilla. XD  So do the new lines you've added let the player choose non-Prince Camarilla without having to choose the Anarch dialog options? If so, that's great. =)

Hey, do some of the files improve the graphics of characters' eyes and of the menus and things? I noticed that a lot of characters' eyes looked REALLY good now, and the main menu is incredibly "crisp"/clear. :D

Yay! Hopefully my Tremere's woeful fate in which he missed out on kissing Strauss' butt for all eternity will not be missed by future Kindred thanks to the new/rearranged lines. :D

And I love the eyes. They're great. Heck, although these look better, the eyes were even great in the original game.

Playing through Bloodlines again this week at such a rapid rate made the weakest parts of the game really stand out. Pretty much everything up through and including Hollywood - with the exception of the Warrens AFTER fighting Andrei - is amaaaazing. But the Warrens are a slog (so glad for the shortcut), Chinatown feels very sparsely populated by any relevant/memorable characters, and everything after that is a really long combat zone. Only the Fu Syndicate really impressed me, and that's because being a test subject as a vampire while someone watched and made scientific observations was pretty awesome.

The Giovanni Mansion's little social gathering was nice, but the rest of the mansion is barren...and I think the Giovanni basement is probably the last combat zone that didn't feel like the devs were out of time and just throwing something together poorly. The Society of Leopold quest onward all just feel like big areas were made, stuffed to the brim with enemies, and very basic A-to-B objectives.

I still love the game, but it's sad that they didn't apply the same pedigree to everything that came after Hollywood as they did to everything up to and including Hollywood.

Here's hoping that Bloodlines 2's producers allow the devs to put out an amazing product without cut corners.
