I checked the video out and you need to contact the French translator about this. It works fine in the English version and there is already the problem, at least in your video, that Venus is not talking during the important last lines. This is wrong...

After FU syndicate Gary tells you to visit him if you make it alive from Giovanni's

But I was never able to find him

Am I doing something wrong?

I read that it is possible to go talk to him after Giovanni's but he isnt just there

I don't think this is possible as there is no dialogue of Gary for that case...

Yes, but afterwards he says: "I'm always here. And everywhere." so it might well have been a joke.

Hi all, first off a major thanks to Wesp for continuing to bring more of VTMB out.

Playing it after a bit of hiatus on a new game with nothing but the Unofficial Patch 9.7 Beta 3 and SweetFX to change the graphic a little.

So far I haven't encountered any bugs until now.

Doing the Night at the Library quest at the moment and after going to the coffee shop the laptop prompts me to go to the end of the pier.

Exiting the office a thug with a knife attacks (here I've either fed him dry, shot him, and melee'ed him to death) and went on my way to the end of the pier.

Then...Nothing happens.  Saw a patch of blood and thought I have to do something in the area, but going around never did anything.

Is there something I'm missing?

Storyline wise, I am just about to go to Chinatown for the first time.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, i´m new here and first i would like to thanks Wesp5 and everybody who keeps working on this game even after all this time.

My problem is that my game just keeps crashing randomly after starting it, usually after 1 - 10 minutes. It always crashes completely (not only back to the desktop), so that i have to switch my laptop off and then on again. I have purchased the game on steam and downloaded and installed the 9.7 (basic) patch. I switched the options in the patch.exe to "run in compatibility mode (win xp sp2)" and 2 others below as i found the advice somewhere on the steam discussion forum. I start the game itsself with "run as administrator" but no change did help so far.

I then found and searched this forum and somewhere i read that random crashing is a problem with the sound files. The problem is i never opened any sound file in the explorer or outside the game so i´m not sure how these files could have become bad. Ofc i tried re-installing but the crashes always keep coming.

I am using an old laptop, not sure if this could be part of the problem too:

- intel core 2 P8400
- Nvidia Geforce 9600M GT
- Win Vista SP2, 32-bit

Anybody here with an idea how to fix this?

I really would appreciate any kind of helpful advice or help because otherwise i never will never make it beyond the tutorial ;-)

Is there a freezing problem in 5.6 basic?

I am a little concerned because it started to freeze and when you try to continue makes noises :( and I thought that my graphics card is way more better than VTMB needed

How can I fix this or is my graphics card dying :(

I fixed the problem, it was because of a very silly reason 

Because I wanted to try companion mod and in topic, it was indicated that we need to use 5.6

I finally decided to finish the companion mod since it has become more than 1 month I started the game 

But I can't

Because I already took Damsel as a companion so I dont know whom to ask where Nines is

Is there a way I can pass this quest of asking Damsel?

(I tried sending her back to position but not an option to ask)
