This is the time the respawner in the main entry starts, after all guards inside and outside are dead, as I am moving to the room with the book and secret passage.

Okay, I finally found and disabled it. It was indeed in the "peaceful" version as I call it and it was actually triggered by yourself crossing a trigger. It will only fire once now.

Iirc, all guards when Hysteria is cast on them will become alerted/aggressive and look around after Hysteria wears off, not these guys they don't move from that spot unless the whole house is in aggressive mode.

Oh, that wink ! That's because their leaning on the walls is a special animation from which they can't come out easily. But  I did correct the bug regarding killing one of them will alert the main hall vampire guards!

It's the medium sized room directly behind the big ballroom where the three LaSombra women spawn.

I roamed around there yesterday and didn't find him. I could kill all vampires nearby with a max of 3 visions of deaths but I noticed that the number was random so maybe you were just unlucky?

This allows grunts and other Sabat to see through level 5

Some of the Sabbat have a feature called "true vision" active, which may be some kind of Auspex to see through Obfuscate. After all you can see Brother Kanker with Auspex as well before he appears.

Would you explain to me how the new Morphine is meant to work, are you just adding a new bottle in the locked cabinet or did you mean to move the 3 from the desk?
There are now 2 different passwords, to hack the CS Cabinet, one before the Werewolf Blood and one once the Werewolf Blood quest begins.

I just added an additional bottle to the cabinet so people hacking it open before the werewolf quest are rewarded with something more than empty space, after all they included 2 passwords, so why should one of them be for nothing?

P.S.: I restored several unused lines of Chunk and one of Bach for 4.2, it's amazing that there is still new stuff to be found in the files happy !

Wesp you're killing me.  I havent even started playing 4.0 yet.  I think you're painting the sistine chapel.  It started off as a portrait of twelve apostles and turned into a 19 year painting of the book of genisis.</quote>

Atleast you can call Wesp Microangelo now :P. Sorry for the terrible pun but I couldn't resist.

He will slow down eventually wink

Btw Wesp the download was painfully slow at 33k a sec. Just letting you know.

 Regards...

Gratz, looking forward to hearing them. happy

I can't remember was Bach fixed in 4.1, he still runs off talking at Grout's?
 ------------------
Has anyone gotten to Hollywood on 4.1?
I have a huge problem, but I am not sure it's the 4.1 patch or my fault.

The game is crashing to the desktop for the first time, since the game release at Leopold.
The reason it could be my fault I started as a male for the first time ever to keep me from getting bored, but I didn't like it so as soon as I got to Downtown, I changed to vgender female.

This seem to cause a problem first on the Dane as the corrupt cop, get stuck in dialogue loop, saying "over hear pal" even though I was a female at that point, but you could see and select the correct lines to progress the dialogue even though he kept looping.

Now I am stuck at telling LaCroix about the missing sarcophagus and every time he says "Stolen, Sto-" the game crashes to desktop.

I checked and you did seem to edit the Prince1.dlg in 4.1, so this keeps me from knowing if it was the gender switch or the 4.1.

Can someone please verify if you can proceed to Hollywood?

 Thanks. happy

If I can't get it going I will try to start a new game.
 ------------------

Ok it's working, mark this down to weird anomlies, must have been the vgender, I won't be doing that again.  tongue

He isn't fixed in 4.1, but while doing it for 4.2 I discovered the new line from him there. It's about your "native tongue" as he clearly is German or Austrian (as myself happy  and I fixed the umlaut in his name as well (should be ü instead of u).

Started a new game with official 1.2 and unofficial 4.1 and playing as a male Nosferatu.

When I initially speak with Jack (right after the opening sequence to the game) he mentions that we should go somewhere (outside I believe) to talk. My dialog option was that we are already there, or something along those lines. Seemed strange but I remember this being mentioned before in one of the threads. Is this intentional?

If I speak with Jack again right after he gives me the pistol (to shoot the bottles with) during the tutorial he gives me a new gun with ammo. I can do this an infinite number of times and get tons and tons of free ammo.

Other than that great job. I have been waiting a long time for the patches to come out and squash all the bugs before I go ahead and play the game. I am enjoying it greatly. Thanks for the great work Wesp!

This must have been a random glitch because a variable it set and checked in Jacks file to prevent this. What's the value of "G.Jack_Tutorial" after he gave the gun to you?

I meant to test Romero sooner but I have been trying to pace myself and not burn out on Bloodlines. happy

Romero's Zombie quest works once again and he now returns to his hut, good work. happy

I'm glad to hear that. You're in Hollywood without the usual huge list of bugs and improvements? Maybe the end of the patches is near wink !

I'm starting to think the patch didn't install correctly. I keep reading things you fixed yet none of it is noticeable in my game.

Romero never comes back. The bubblegum that is supposedly there, isn't, and some conversations you fixed. I can't tell the difference (the warehouse, for example, what convo got fixed there?).

Anyways I run on Windows Vista and I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't install right. I can name a few game patches that are screwed up on Vista and fine on XP.

You must've used the patch that is in the "basic" folder. That patch only fixes bugs and doesn't add the gameplay variations like the gum. The full patch is in the "vampire" folder, directly when you enter the .rar file.

Still some of the issues he mentions like Romero or the conversations are fixed in the "basic" version too. Do you have the "Blood Heal" discipline available?

I assure you I didn't use the Basic patch. Anyways, no sir Blood Heal isn't available. On another note "Skip Intro" doesn't work for me either. I can click the little box, but the Intro still plays.

I tried playing the Romero quest with the 4.0 patch, and the game freezes when he gets up and heads for the door and doesn't exit it. I also encountered a glitch after the sewer quest to kill Brother Kanker, in which when I climbed the ladder to get out of the sewers, I feel through the game world and had to use the no-clip cheat to get back to the surface area.

If you have no Blood Heal you probably extracted the patch into the wrong directory. The Skip Intro button will sometimes not work, this is normal wink .

That bug was the reason why the 4.1 patch was released so soon wink !

A hole in the map? Sorry, but I can't fix map geometry like this.
