                I've done the sound part. changes are as follow:
 General:
 change the ambient sound of Santa Monica and Downtown.
 * also tried to change the night club sounds . . . but at some points it crashed !
 
 Specific:
 --Disciplines:
 
     * Animalism: some levels
     * Auspex: added whispers to activation (credit not mine)
     * Celerity: changed activation sound
     * Dementation: some levels
     * Dominate: some levels
     * Fortitude: same
     * Obfuscate: almost same
     * Potence: almost same
     * Presence: changed activation
     * Protean: changed activation
     * Thaumaturgy : all levels changed.
 
 im thinking in changing the combat zone sounds but im not sure with what ! if any one has any idea . . . let me know !

                I also suggest that we leave the bug fixing to wesp so one day maybe we can merge our works togather . . . like in the plus patch or whatever . . . if we start fixing bugs then we will get conflict with wesp patch and at some points the game may crash . . . at this point we are not competing with wesp but helping to improve the game even further . . . since wesp patch dosent focus on graphics at all . . . so there would be no conflict !

                can we create mirrors ? . . . as you noticed all mirrors are blur in the game . . do you think is possible to create reflections in front of the mirrors ?

                I dont believe the prototype source engine supported true mirrors.
 
 I think you could simulate a mirror by making an area essenitally a large television set and placing an invisible camera beind it looking through the screen so that if you stood in front of it, you saw yourself. The illusion of being a mirror comes from the context... ie: place the large screen in front of a sink in a bathroom.
 
 However there are 2 problems.
 
 When you are in first person perspective, your model disappears. So even if you stood in front of one of these fake mirrors, you wouldn't see anything unless you switched to third person.
 
 The second issue is that in this particular game, you are suppose to be a vampire and vampires aren't suppose to show up in mirrors anyway. I suspect this is the main reason there aren't any any mirrors in the game. Fan boys would just complain about it. Some might get phylisophical and claim the mirrors appear the way they do BECAUSE you are a vampire. But the reality is that the developers didn't want to spend time on a sticky detail like mirrors in a vampire game.
 
 On a side note: Most modern laptops have cameras built in. I admit, it would be cool if the haven laptop showed the PC on the screen instead of playing its little screen-saver.  But... that involves editing maps which takes us back to the earlier points... you should stick to textures and sounds if you want your work to be considered for incorporation into other mods/patches.

                well, i would say:
 Vampires dont appear in morrors anyways
 and to make it a bit more realistic, we could just stand in the view
 of a mirror and make a screenshot in the room and texture the mirrors
 front with it. (just my thought)

 No.
 
 VtM vampires, except for Lasombra, show up just fine in mirrors. The reason the Source engine does not have working mirrors is because Valve wanted the player to feel like they were Gordan Freeman, and looking in a mirror and seeing the actual Gordan Freeman would break immersion. It has absolutely nothing to do with Troika... well, besides the fact they chose to use this engine in the first place.
 
 Dark Messiah is the same; no mirrors.

 No, no there isn't. Back when the game first came out? Yes. But they left a few monthes after release once the full extent of Bloodlines' hatred for new content was realized.

                The last few posts demonstrate my point. There are so many takes on vampires and various rules. When this game came out, probably Buffy was the most popular vampire series in mainstream media. And then there is the most recent hit: Twilight. A world where vampires sparkle in the sunlight... lol.
 
 The developers didn't want to deal with the flaming wars of mainstream gamers arguing with Whitewolf fanboys about the PC's reflection in mirrors. It was easier (and cheaper) to just not do anything with the mirrors. I would have made the same decision if I was in charge if the project. Anyway, this thread is getting off topic, so I will post no more on the subject here.
 
 I have already shared all I know regarding the technical side of things.  If you learn anything more, let me know so that I can add it to the guide. It would be nice if you could just add a flag to the vmt file to turn a texture into a mirror, but I just dont think it exists. (Though I have been wrong before).
