Trying to get Beckett to buy Vampyr Apocrypha
« on: July 11, 2010, 06:48:29 am »
I have my alternate line first draft, but it doesn't seem to be setting G.Beckett_Messerach = 1, any idea what I am doing wrong? It removes the book and gives reward fine.

{   953   }{   He said it's the tomb of Messerach, an Assyrian King and I found Vampyr Apocrypha, can I get

a reward, please?   }{   He said it's the tomb of Messerach, an Assyrian King and I found Vampyr Apocrypha,

can I get a reward, please?   }{   961   }{   G.Beckett_Messerach == 0 and G.Prof_Messerach == 1 and

pc.HasItem("item_g_vampyr_apocrypha")   }{   G.Beckett_Messerach = 1; pc.RemoveItem("item_g_vampyr_apocrypha");

pc.MoneyAdd(300)   }{      }{   }{   }{   }{   }{   }{   Messerach, Assyrian overlord, is

within. I think he might be... dead! Look, reluctant information, gimme some dead presidents?   }

Thanks for any tips.  :smile:

Trust me, most of the names I have been called you can't translate in any language...they're not even real words as much as a succession of violent images.

You should leave the setting of G.Beckett_Messerach = 1 out of this line. It is done in the referenced line 961. For the rest, your syntax seems to be o.k.
