Volunteers needed for Bloodlines Coop Multiplayer Mod!

Yeah, I know the topic is a bit over the top, but I wanted to attract attention ;). I have the impression that more and more people here start mapping for Bloodlines without knowing exactly what to do with it. So after working on a lot of hunter stuff for Prelude I, I decided to restore some of it into the Unofficial Patch, like Faith Heal and most of the changed graphics.

Only noone will ever see this until someone goes ahead and builds some coop maps for Bloodlines multiplayer! I am not a MP person myself and don't have enough PCs to test it anyway, but maybe someone out there, who wants to make a name, could start on this? I imagine things like having the players as hunters defend the monestary against a Sabbat attack. Or having player hunters raid the Hallowbrook hotel. Anyone interested?

That would be a lot of fun!
However, if you do PvP between a group of vampires and hunters, it will be difficult to make a balance...(well, you can give one of the hunters a grenade launcher... ahahaha)
But I like your idea with multiplayer! I would try to play it!

From myself I'l add a few more crazy ideas:
- it would be possible before the beginning of each battle to make a choice of conditions under which victory is counted or to make different battle modes.
The choice of conditions is probably difficult to implement, but I will still write it.
Each of the teams puts forward their own conditions to the enemy team, by type:
Party Hunters tell to vampires so they not have use their disciplines, and hunters too c'not use a Numina.
Vampires can tell to hunters so they have only melee fight, and vampires too can only fight melee. Or something else...

Here are some examples of waiting battle modes.
- The last hero.
Survival mode where players are forbidden to drink blood and use any items/disciplines/numina to heal.
 - Find and destroy!
Hunters must protect from vampires a certain human from their group or NPC. The vampires need to find and kill this victim.
You can do this through social interaction: hunters hide in the club, and vampires need to enter there quietly and find out from the NPC where the hunters are. If vampires bring noise to the club  - both team will died.
The same can be done for vampires.

And even get together in the Hollywood cemetery to shooting a zombies! DDD

I think we talked about this sometime ago...
I have a couple of half-made maps that I started for WW2 mod that I finally don't use.
After the release of the final version, (soon), I have one that is a resort, a no-linear map with multiples passages, rooms, etc... that will adapt good for multiplayer, I will finish it if you want.

Yes, but this map won't adapt well for a multiplayer, is just a hall with tunnels...

Maybe my original postings wasn't clear enough, but PvP is not possible as players can't hurt each others. So only Coop would work!

That's okay, it was just my guess.
In any case, the idea of a zombie and a mission to save/destroy the NPC can try to crank and in Coop mode.
Only I don't know if it's possible to implement this ideas...

I would tried to create to example map this the most club, where players in role vampires will seek its goal, and a cemetery of with zombies can be borrow from original game.
However, I'm still building a castle... but I can take part in testing of maps . =)

Why not turn the castle into a mp map? Like with hunters trying to kill the sleeping vampire while his ghouls defend it or the other way around. I don't see how a castle would fit into the normal Bloodlines story and the WWII mod already has a really cool one ;)!

But I like your idea of killing an antediluvian in a castle! It would be fun, especially in the daytime...

If  you want to use /adapt tha ww2 castle map for a mmo mod,is ok. This map have several routes and places to hide, will fit for it.
I can sent you the decompiled sources for add /remove anything that you want.

First hello all, I am new to the forum, I am a long time player of Wod RP, I have make some modding for redemption long time ago and have started to work on a mod to continue the game after ending for bloodlines, when discussing with Wesp about this I have shared my ideas so I will share it with you if people are interested as well on the possibilities related to the multiplayer map.

I have worked sometimes ago on a kind of "moba" map, currently it is still work in progress but I might focus on it if people are interested.
The ideas is to have a warzone between some sabbat scout and some anarchs in some crappy area in LA, using 2 differents gang (the same as downtown) as proxies.
The sabbat just came in the area and their gang have threw the other one to the reach of the map.
An anarch could be present and not please that the sabbat is taking over the area.
At the begining the sabbat gang is full over the map, with some members patrolling the lines.

Before the moba part start, I see some quest that might buff or debuff the gangs for example:
 - Releasing some prostitutes from the sabbat gang to get them less money
 - Find some weapon dealer to better enhance your troop, Fat Larry would be a good candidate
 - Find some informations or remove some control with bribery: for example a homeless center taken by sabbat where you should bribe / kill / seduce the manager to get rid of some reinforcement.

Other ideas my popup, please if you have some feel free to add them.

After the players finish the quest, speaking with the gang leader start the fight and the moba part start.
The 2 fortress will be the sabbat haven and the other gang shelter.
Each line will have (I can't remember the name of the object) gang generator and depending on the quests results the generator setting is changing, number of men, stats, weapon or anything else, I think make all generators and hidding or unhidding the wanted one should work, but maybe there is a better way to do that, I am still learning the bloodlines modding, if anyone has a better ideas, please feel free.

Generator are destroyed when players kill some gang members group of drug dealer in some parking corner for example.

Game is finished when the sabbat pack is destroyed and your gang take over the area.
Maybe some members of the pack could patrol as well and when put at half life flee to their haven.

I attach the work in progress map, I am not great at mapping so it is just copy paste of assets, please be aware that it is far from finished, it is the raw map for now, but the lines are here at least for a good half of the map.

Please let me know what you think about this ideas, I know it looks ambitious, but I think according to my search when I was working on this, it is doable.
