Source of many VTM:B textures found.
« on: October 31, 2018, 01:44:52 PM »
A few days ago the HL-2 Beta community discovered the origin of many HL-2 textures. Marlin Studio Textures. How does this relate to bloodlines? The texture packs were the source of many VTM:B textures too.

And the best part? The source images are available in a higher resolution than the game.

This is pretty awesome! It's interesting for me because it gives some perspective into how textures are made at all, which I never thought too much about before.

Do you have a link to the rest? Hopefully someone more skilled with textures than I could make good use of them.

It's nearly 4gb uncompressed and includes texture packs that may not include any VTM:B textures.

Currently working on a list that lists all the source pics and their derivatives.
