Hey all, I am very very very new to modding.  The funny thing is that I am an A+ and MCP certified technician and own a small computer repair and network installation company.  Now here comes the old cliche... I cannot program and cannot even draw a simple tree in photoshop (maybe im just a sucky artist?).

 1. Anyone know of a tutorial for modding and making skins that is for "total dumbies", something even a moron could follow? LOL!

 2. I have searched the forums only to find dead link about saving heather from the sabbat.  Anyone know of any cool patches for this?  maybe turn her into a vampire herself *grinning*.. or anything else would work heh.

 3. "IF" I actually get decent at modding and photoshop I will offer my help to those people working on big projects around here freely.  I want to give something back to this game which I enjoy so much and to the community.  Figure I have been using your mods so I want to make some for you to use lol.

 Peace!!

PS: I am available for 1 on 1 tutoring via ventrillo or teamspeak and can wire you money via paypal if thats what it really takes to turn me into a modding machine! happy

The skinning tutorial thread by Hellwolve sticky'd in this very forum is very dum... ahem, I mean beginner-friendly. The "Bloodlines tools" thread, also sticky'd and located right next to the aforementioned topic will help you along with the tools.

It's not complicated at all, as far as skins go. Believe me, if I've gotten the hang of it, then pretty much any person (or even a moderately intelligent monkey) can do it.

I've upped the basic heather-saver for you, grab it here. Get it fast though, as I won't be keeping this uploaded indefinitely.

And no, you cannot turn her into a vampire, or anything else for that matter. There are some nude Heather-resins if that helps you any :P

Word of warning here - the Bloodlines modding scene is fairly, uh, nonexistant. There are no big projects. People have mostly moved on. Good luck though.

Uh, dude, calm down? Money? Nobody here's gonna ask you to compensate them for giving you some pointers. If we can help, we do. It's all good, mkeh?

Hey guys thanks for the links.  Umm LA.. the one hyperlink you have for the heather fix.. well the readme is in french or spanish or something and unfortunately I can only read english.  You would'nt happen to have an english copy of that laying around would you? Prefferably one with "dumbied down" instructions lol.

     Thanks guys.

     peace.
