Hi everyone

Due to the fact that I've wasted nearly a whole day without finding a solution to my problem, I registered here in hope to find a solution.

So, because I really like the reinterpretation of the Followers of Set in V5 and the renaming to Ministry, I wanted to change the Ventrue PC in CQM to a Ministry Character. I've managed to change everything (Name, Clan Description, Clan Symbol, Disciplines, Advantage/Flaw, Autoleveling Progress). But since editing the  clandoc000.txt file I got the problem, that now every single History is available for my Ventrue/Ministry PC (see attached screenshot).

Does anyone have a solution for that problem?

PS: Sorry for my English, I'm from Switzerland and it's a long time since I've last written in English :)

Depends on what you did in clandoc.
My guess from the symptoms is that you either missed a " somewhere or you changed the internal name of the clan. But then all histories should have gone. :chinscratch:

Strange thing is, as soon as I change the line

"Name"            "Ministry"

back to

"Name"            "Ventrue"

the histories are allright again.

EDIT:
Just tested it with different mods (TFN, CQM, CE):
As soon as you change the Clan Name in clandoc000.txt, all histories become available for the name changed clan. Just can't figure out how to fix that...

Have you tried editing the histories file: whenever an history requires ventrues replace it with ministry?

Thanks for the input! Already tried that, but it didn‘t help. Deleting all Histories works fine, then the only option available is „None“. As soon as i copied them back, the same error occured. I also tried deleting the histories in the history and traiteffect.txt which are connected with the exchanged Disciplines (Dominate, Fortitude), but that hasn‘t helped neither.

Why not only change the name and keep the internal name the same?

I did that exactly. Even if I only change „Name“ „Ventrue“ to „Name“ „Ministry“ the error occurs. Changing it back to „Name“ „Ventrue“ fixes the problem again. It doesnt‘t matter with which clan I change the name, the error always occurs.
