Nosferatu armor
« on: April 24, 2019, 04:44:12 PM »
Hello again,

I've been busy the last couple of days trying to remove the ridiculous BDSM outfits for the nosferatu.
I managed to get rid of the piercings on armor0, but not on armor1 and armor2.
My frustration after a couple of days was so big it'd almost made me throw all the progress i'd made.
But i figured i might as well just post the armor0 version i made here.

For this i left the piercings in, but removed the metal ring on the chest and got rid of all the straps on the chest, and gave him black jeans.
These jeans were not made by me, but was taken from the samedi in The Final Nights, so all the credit goes to the person who made it, i just copy-pasted and recolored it.

My original plan was to get rid of all the piercings on every nosferatu, and all the BDSM apparel. But i can't seem to figure it out and have lost the motivation to continue with this project. If someone else can figure out how to get rid of the piercings on the other armors, i might consider finishing it.
The armor0 inventory icon has not been changed either, mostly because i have no clue how to do that.

Anyway, hope atleast someone will enjoy this.

Edit: Completed the little project after all. Download here; https://forums.planetvampire.com/bloodlines-modding/my-mod-purgatory/

You could just make all piercing jewelry much smaller and move them inside the model, like inside the head or body. That worked for me so many times. Or move them as far up as possible, I've heard that works too, or you can just make the texture of the piercing invisible, using alpha channel and by adding few lines in vtf file.

I wish i knew how to make it smaller and move them inside the model itself, but unfortunately, i suck at blender. Editing 3d models is a bit too advanced for me i'm afraid.

I did make the textures of the piercing invisible, that was my first try, and it's pretty easy.
Problem is, when i tried to use the same method on armor1 and armor2 the piercings just wouldn't disappear.

Strange, because basically this kind of textures shared between armours.
Unfortunately I cannot see how it is in game at the moment. Probably someone else who have access to the game can help you to make textures at other armours invisible.

That would be great, i could use some help. If anyone has any experience with models that would be even better.

Thank you so much! Could you also remove the ring on the chest from armor0 and armor1 too, as well as the spikes on the armor1 bracers and the zipper on armor3? And if it's not too much trouble, if you could get rid of the piercings on Bertram and Brother kanker aswell that would be really awesome.

You're an absolute treasure MooCHa. Thank you.

Edit: You missed a piercing btw, the female armor0 still has a lip piercing.
