  •                 I've been trying to change the consoles font size, it's just too small for me to read easily.

     I located the proper .fnt file, "tahoma_09_000_000.fnt", but all attempts to increase the size have failed..

     I have tried just swapping it for a different .fnt file from the game, this did increase the size, but, the text became unreadable gibberish..

     I have also done a byte-by-byte comparison of this file and "tahoma_16_000_000.fnt", using a Hex comparison tool I wrote, and tried deciphering the format, I did find some values, such as new line spacing, but nothing that increased the size of the text..

     I remember seeing that someone, I think Wesp, was able to fix some font problems, so I'm hoping to get some responses that may lead to a solution, or perhaps a pre-made fix that I've overlooked..

     Well, please respond if you have any information.

     The changes I did were made in resource/trackerscheme.res but I couldn't find a console font there. Maybe it is just called differently so you may look into this file yourself.

                    Thanks Wesp5, that was it, I was able to change the size successfully from that file, just search for "DefaultVerySmall_800", and change the "tall" value to whatever size you want.. happy

     (It's the first Tahoma font, with a tall size of "9"..)

     Here is the entire entry, with my edit..

           "DefaultVerySmall_800"
           {
              "1"
              {
                 "name"      "Tahoma"
                 "tall"      "20" // Console Font (Size 9)
                 "weight"   "0"
     //            "range"      "0x0000 0x017F" //   Basic Latin, Latin-1 Supplement, Latin Extended-A
                 "range"      "0x0000 0x00ff" //   Vampire fonts should be ANSI-1252 compliant
              }
           }

     ----

     Note: There are values listed, 640, and 800 on the various entries in the file Wesp mentioned, I assume this means these are resolution dependent, so this may not work the same at other resolutions.

     So be aware that you may have to test the different Tahoma fonts, for resolutions other than 800x600...

     It should be one of the smallest ones listed, though(7, 8, 9, etc,.)..
