Oh geez, I'm floored that you'd ask me to share it ;_; I honestly didn't expect that. I uploaded it to moddb here: https://www.moddb.com/games/vampire-the-masquerade-bloodlines/addons/herekittykitty
Yeah I keep a bunch of save games mostly in front of npcs so I can view them directly in their "natural habitat" but the viewer is an awesome tool too!
I hope you got it to work! I just compressed them regularly with the rar tool - no clue if I should have ticked an option somewhere. Sadly, I know there are all too many re-skins of the lady malk but for some reason I just enjoy playing through the game as her. I do admit the game did a very poor job of depicting malks, making them extremely fishy and just plain goofy at times; nothing wrong with a pinch of humour but... yeah. I play a malk in the tabletop campaign I'm in and she's actually a very sad character; that having said she has served our players with some funny moments. If I manage to nail this skinning thing down I'll probably attempt to do something for the brujah gal as well, and perhaps the gangrel.
For now I wanna see if I can pull off a decent deathrocker look for the fem malk. (man I wish I could give her a big old deathawk!)
(I hope you didn't mind, I was working on this occasionally for a long time and recently I found out how to do it)
@ vampire_nonsense Oh I didn't think that at all! I do agree there are generally too many malky reskins though. I guess liking the Malks in bloodlines is a bit like having a troublesome favorite child.
Edit: I have to mention it, I actually for some odd reason have a LOT of trouble with the malk's ponytail. I changed it's color and it kept giving me strange gaps between the strands of hair. Any suggestions how to fix this, other than to draw the gaps in?

Pretty accurate.I was looking through the thread again and do you know how taken aback I was to realize you were using a couple other skins of mine (room divider and heartbed) in the Asylum apartment? My jaw literally dropped. I can't believe I didn't recognize my own stuff for so long.QuoteEdit: I have to mention it, I actually for some odd reason have a LOT of trouble with the malk's ponytail. I changed it's color and it kept giving me strange gaps between the strands of hair. Any suggestions how to fix this, other than to draw the gaps in? It happens with the vanilla skin, too, right? It sounds like that one, which seems to be a problem with the model rather than the texture. Just loading up one solid color on the model shows the same gap.
In the actual skin .tga where you see the "transparency" pattern, there is literally nothing (I deleted parts of the image with the alphachannel active on all layers) - so why it's suddenly solid is confusing to me. All I did to the ponytail was colorize it. This didn't happen with her fringes for example. I cut them into shape and colored them, and it worked just fine. Trying to currently ghetto fix it just by drawing in the strands of her so the gaps are filled and then manually adding in some spaces to create the illusion of hair tips on a pony tail.
And hell yeah I love little details in games so I love using better looking skins for say, the heartbead or divider. They look really good man!
