Make it is not so easy like place a TV.
You must create a "camera cinematic" item, pointing the camera man, etc. You must create a room with the newscaster,ect...

I suggest you, decompile "sm_pawnshop_1" map and take a look how it works.

Which is one reason why I never decided to add specific havens for all clans ;).

It turns out that I can’t create it ?! Of course I’ll try, but if I don’t get it, I’ll leave it as it is without a working TV ... (we will assume that it has broken).

You could also use the trick I did for the downtown Nosferatu haven TV. Just decompile the map to see it! I basically placed the news guy inside the tv and had some noise being displayed while the sound is still working :).

It's also possible to use noclip and see it?

Looks like I'm a little closer to unraveling this mystery...
I borrowed the TV presenter’s room from sm_pawnshop_1 and the TV from la_skyline_1 with all the data.
The only problem that I have left is the subtitles. When I load my map, sub-titles appear: the announcer seems to be saying something, but I don’t hear him. When I turn on the TV, everything works as it should, when I turn off the TV there is no problem either.
I probably need to prescribe something to fix this, but I don’t know which script is responsible for this...

---
I found a problem. I just needed to move the TV presenter’s room to the other end of the map! Now everything works as it should ... Once again, I thank everyone who responded!

Good evening, Kindred!
I decided to share with you some screenshots made from my future map. Yes, she is still in the process, but something can already be shown.
There may be too much “green” in the corridor, but I’m thinking of fixing it, like the white beams ... (don’t pay attention to the girl - she’s standing there temporarily, I’ll remove it later.)

So, a little update.
Before you is the entrance, well, the rise to it... (I hope that it does not look too tasteless).

I evened out this quiet horror, now, aquariums should look more adequately.

It looks really awesome, I love all the detail! :D

Ugh that is beautiful! I 100% can't wait to install that into the various versions of the game I'm playing... I want it!

LOL

But seriously you're doing an incredible job...

Hello again.
Thank you all for your kind words! I hope I won’t disappoint you...
I almost finished the map (it remains to finish one room), but I had some questions.
1. Textures "NODRAW". If I understand correctly, thanks to them, the map is loaded much faster... but I don’t know how I can combine my walls with this texture (maybe I’ve already been late).
2. Secret doors. I was able to make a lever and a door. I managed to make sure that when interacting with the lever, the door opens, BUT ... the character can open the door without using the lever. How can I make the door OPEN STRICTLY with a lever?

Thank you in advance for your answers!

---
And I also decided to make an "impromptu" katana stand. Of course, she is not quite perfect, but at least I tried.

Hi Avadonica...
1. The nodraw texture. When you select an object to paint, you can see 2 checks in the window. World and face. Just select face, with this option you will paint only the active face.

2. The lever. The easiest way to do it is in a "logic auto" add "on load map" lock "door-name".

Assign NODRAW to every brush side the player can't ever see, like on the outside of the map.

You must disable the Use Opens flag of the door.

Thank you for your advice! True, I had to adjust the levers for a very long time so that everything worked...

Thanks for the tips! So, "NODRAW" textures do not affect the speed of loading and processing the map?! Although... I think that there are too many details in my map and therefore it took a lot of time to convert to a game format...
And I did not quite understand about the doors. What menu should I use and what settings should have been ?!
