Killable Werewolf?

Okay, so the werewolf will be killable by normal weapons in the UP 8.0 plus version. But as people here have different opinions about whether this is right or wrong, I'll just ask you. Should it work for everyone or should I hide it in an easter egg that is triggered by the other werewolf ones? In the latter case I would add a hint so people have a better chance to notice any of them, as right now they are rather unknown...

You can still kill it the "usual" way, right, with the observatory doors? Or is that toggled on/off depending if the model is killable with weapons?

I say it's counter-intuitive NOT to kill it with normal weapons. Make it killable, but it should be an absolute bastard of a fight - I'd make it on-par with one of the bosses like the first round with the Sheriff.

Make it killable only by silver weapons/bullets only found in the observatory. Although I don't know what kind of insane person would put such things in a learning center. lol!

It works the way it was intended and doesn't need the change as it isn't broken.  It's meant to be the way it is atm.

It doesn't need fixed. But in the end wether its included is your call. I can only itterate what I think and on a whole it shouts Mod out nice and clearly ;)

Of course this will still work, but there is no way to add silver weapons or bullets to help against it.

Your first reason is why I intend to do this at all, the second one will be sure, because regardless of weapons and stats you will only be able to do 1-2 damage. So expect a long boring fight.

As Rick Gentle put it, it just makes no sense that you can't even try. If you fail, okay, but just taking that option away from you is what I never liked about the werewolf.

Why this is true on one hand, the whole handling of the werewolf shouts unfinished to everyone looking at the level.

The plus patch is more a mod than a patch already and this will of course never end up in the basic version! Let's wait until tomorrow for what the poll says. At the moment it's 6:3 pro easter egg which would be not difficult for me to implement...

Personally I don't see why the option shouldn't be there. As it's already been mentioned, only one or two points of damage are going to be done per attack, making it much quicker and safer to just use the observatory doors rather than trying to duke it out, but for those who want to be able to sit there and whittle away at the werewolf's health should be able to.

There is an option to make the results available as people vote but it's currently set (possibly a default) to allow people to see the results after it's completed. As a mod/admin, I can see the results but in case Wesp set it that way for a reason, I'll let him chance the setting if he wishes.
