I've been trying to change the calendar dates in Warrens 1 and 3...

Is something wrong with these dates?

I'm trying to make them match up with the unmodified ledgers. I believe the unofficial patch does this by changing the year in the ledger texts, but the months don't match the calender. The 1957 ledger (in the 1972 room) matches both the month and year on the calender in the room with the 1919 ledger. It looks like there used to be a third, 1919, office, and a 1972 ledger. I was trying to replace the 1972 calender with the 1957 calender texture, and replace the original 1957 calender texture with a custom 1919 calender.

Zer0Morph these look great, please keep up the good work.

It doesn't matter how big it gets the people who can use it will, PCs get faster all the time  and in two years someone can buy a super computer of today for $200, in 3 years $150.

It would be an amazing project for the community and game! :drink:
Trust me, most of the names I have been called you can't translate in any language...they're not even real words as much as a succession of violent images.

That's kind've what I was thinking too. Who cares how big the game is, it's going to look great. Now we just someone to step up and do it, lol.

Only other Modder that I remember bothering with high res was Tessera years back.

Me do it? ACK why does it always have to be me who does it, lol. Actually after I release TFN I think I'll be looking for the back door, I'm getting pretty burnt out on modding this game and wouldn't mind just "playing" a game for awhile. 2011 has some pretty awesome looking games coming out like Deus Ex and The Old Republic MMO. I'd like to try both of those out.

I was hoping this post would spark someone's imagination and they would take up the torch for awhile, lol.

Well, I have not been active for years on the VTMB scene.. but if I remember right someone was planning on reskinning the environment of the whole game.. I have no idea who it was or if it was ever done.  I decided to get back into the game just recently.  I have seen some amazing posts / projects and other things.  Kudos to all the modders and community members for keeping this one of a kind AMAZING game going!

Zer0Morph you defiantly deserve a break for all the excellent work, here's hope you are compelled to return!   :cometome:

Thanks Acleacius!  I'm really tieing things up nicely with TFN, I don't predict waiting much longer. :)

Here's some good examples of some hi-res mods:

https://www.planetvampire.com/modules/files/view.php?id=626

i'd love to see some more h-res mods for other npcs or locales.  the resurgence project looks nice but doing hi-res reskins is much easier compared to what's going into that mod ;)
