Title: Hi all Im new to all this need help with Mod Choices
Post by: Abhoth on January 04, 2011, 01:37:39 PM
Hi all as the title states Im new to all this so I need hlep with mod choices, Im a old hand at Vampire (masquerade etc as far Paper and Pencil goes) but totally new to the PC game I just got it for 5$ from steam. So Im wondering what mods I should get, Ive downloaded the latest unofficial patch: 7.2 and installed that (correctly I hope, how do I tell if its installed right?) and I assume I have the latest official patch via steam. Given that what mods would you all consider either "an absolute must" or "makes the game awesome" etc for a first timer?

I see the Camarilla mod and the Pencial and Paper mod and so on but I ahve no idea what to do OR if I should just play the game with the unofficial patch FIRST.

Cheers all!

Play the UP first then play the other mods available one by one so you get more bang for buck and more out of the game on a whole.

You can also use Bloodlines true patch gold which only deals with minimal fixes that the official patch didnt take care off and game breaking bugs.

On the 'What Games are you Playing Now?' thread, Javokis said Steam had some good sale prices over the holidays.  I guess Bloodlines was one of them.  I looked now though, and Bloodlines is back to $19.99.
