  •                 The Half-Life 2 MDL de-compiler works very well in decompileing the models in Bloodlines. It decompiles them to .SMD HL2 format. Skeletons,meshes,cloth textures even mutitextures.
     There are importers/exporters for 3DS max (versions 5 to 8(9 has exporter only) import the whole model as well as all animations..
     You would need Half-Life 2 to re-compile it using their compiler but you could get the models from Bloodlines into
     3DS Max with very little effort and have all the animations to go with them...
     Hope this has not been posted a thousand times already... as I am new to these forums but a great lover of this game...
     I am looking at doing some model re-work myself for it...

     Wow, this is great news! (Though I'm guessing gardeb will be a bit dissapointed, since he has already spent work on writing a decompiler.)
     
     I didn't know this, and thank you for pointing this out.
     
     On a related note, if anyone knows how to write a converter for .ttz to .vtf (bloodlines to source textures), please let us know!
     
     I'm going to try to get in contact with the author of the Bloodlines Tools program and see if he can help us with that.
