Nah, I wouldn't make him a hipster; apart from it not fitting the timeline, that's just not Nines. :P In fact I find that his outfit already has a bit of that Depression Era working man vibe, just needs a different jacket and texture for the pants.

In the meantime, I finished my hands project, original clan colours:

Ok, so I've been working on a Nines skin (still a WIP)
I gave him a vintage denim jacket which has seen better days, a cleaner (although not pristine) top and higher res necklaces.

I'm not the biggest fan of such jackets but the quality is amazing and I applaud it on that basis.

Thanks! :) I realize it's not going to be everyone's taste, but this is how I envision him.

I respect that completely. You are clearly very good at this.

Add a red and a white stripe but only on the left of the chest like a clothing brand and you'll make the definitive version of Nines

You mean like on his old jacket? I'm not sure it would work so well here, it's a different style. I've never seen a vintage Levi's jacket with a red and white stripe...

I'm really not a huge fan of Nines (man I must be the only damn person to actually dislike him) but holy doody, this looks great!

Also love the hands!!! The vanilla hands are so fugly af.  Though are they as pale as the main corpus? They look slightly pinkish but I'm actually willing to be that has to do with my damn monitor. Really good job though, those hands have always been a thorn in my side.

Heh, I'm sure you're not the only one to dislike him.  I just happen to be quite fond of him myself. Thank you! As for the hands, I am using an ENB so things appear darker/more saturated than they really are, although they do have a very SLIGHT pinkish hue, I wasn't fond of grayscale vampires. Particularly the default hands! But they are still quite pale, IMO.

Also, Nines is done:

Myself too, think that Nines, a person with a theatric flair not unlike LaCroix, would dress something more fashionable than ragged sportswear.

I really dig that look on him! I'll definitely use this for a playthrough.

(I sometimes like to switch skins for characters, it's good to have variety!)

Thanks, glad you like it!  Variety is always good, yes!

Uugh, I have too many ideas for mods now.  But I think the Tremere lady is next. Going to try for a witchy look with her...

Tremere WIP....

...I wish there was an easier way to preview PC skins without doing some kind of wizardry with changing models...  :irritated:

I haven't worked on her face yet, aside from making it paler/less purple to match the rest of the body.

Also not sure about the snake bracelets...I like the *idea* but I don't know if it looks quite right. :/ Maybe if I manage to make a bump/reflective map for them...

Looks good! What res do you work at? I work at 2K. I converted the Antitribu Mod's female Giovanni (back) to a Tremere for my current playthrough and I'm disappointed it's so low-res for such nice work.

I've never skinned the Tremere, so I don't know how wonky the UV mapping is, but they'd look good coiled around her arms, unless you had a different design in mind. I think the bracelets will look really good with a bump map. Details like this often look bad or mediocre until I'm done.
