That should be easy if you know how the screaming sounds are called.

Those are in three folders under sound/character/swat/ called swat1, swat2 and swat3. Inside there are several .wavs and .lips files

Then just copy them into the UP patch folder to the same path if you want to hear them!

Really? There's not the necessity to modify a file to tell it when play one wav and when another? I'll try now

Nope, didn't worked. I'll check the mod files in my brother's pc tomorrow (I haven't it in my pc now) if there's something else to make it work.

A lot of programs which allow modding are like this. The Black Isle/Bioware D&D games from the late 90s did this too.

If the games find a file in a specific folder (for example /addons/), then it'll use those versions of the file. If it doesn't find them there, then it'll default to the ones that the game came with.

Usually this is done by the devs just to allow for relatively painless patching or alteration of files if they have an addon (what we call DLC these days), but the system leaves the door open for modders to play around too.

You should check out the soundscheme for the tower. Maybe Lenusk@ has added them instead of replacing the original sounds.

That's what I'll do as soon it's possible ;)

It's played by the python file of the ventrue level (ventrue.py) I'll have to add that chunk of text and cross my fingers

"And now for something completely different" (:rofl:), I'll present you my test for a Ravnos mod. Very easy, very cheap, very stupid.

I was thinking of adapting. And only the description to suit both clans. And only to propose the idea and not actually doing it myself. And just have a laugh  but we have to admit the vanilla toreador (specially the male) suits well as a ravnos too

I wanted to ask another thing: how to add new end games choices? I was thinking about a) siding with Isaac and b) yourself decide to become prince of LA but not opening the sarcophagus

The latter I would add, in anarch and lone ending, add the dialogue choise of "I take your throne", kill the prince for good, sit on his chair, putting your shoes on the desk and smiling to the camera zooming out.

The other one instead we see Isaac entering the door theatrically, followed by other anarchs, the Prince says "y-you?" (recycled from one of his lines) followed by one anarch kicking him in the face, Isaac not saying a word, continues walking to the window, next to you, and while the camera zoom out showing the prince taken out alive you and Isaac silently watch the city through the window.

I know maybe it's too complicate with the tools we have now but teorically wouldn't be awesome?

Theoretically it might be cool, but as the big cutscenes are all done using model animations and as we can't edit these, there is no easy way to do something like this...

Maybe playing with camera angles? But maybe it's better to keep them in a drawer until it can be possible :)
