Foreword (from the manual)

How about that? 6.3 release of my addon, foward going and still rocking. Kinda.

Yeah, I know it's a collection of stuff cobbled together from other mods and custom stuff derivative of  these mods but still I'm proud of the outcome. When I started I was only capable of changing textures but from there I learned so much! And yet there's so much I don't know (and very probably I won't ever....).

The best part was not only see this small addon growing but also receiving and giving advice to the community other than seeing the community itself enjoying my small and yet valiant efforts.

And talking about the community, a huge thank you to all the people who helped me: in no particular order, the guys at the PlanetVampire forum (Malkav, Wesp5, IanW, The Shadow Man, argikt, Ghanima_Atreides, Viatrixa, fylimar, Mamita,....) the developers of the main Bloodlines mods (Dheu, Lenusk@, Zer0Morph), Xatmos, _xMAX_, Marius217 and many else who I might have forgot....

Who knows how this addon will evolve? Some fixed and tuning of course, but what can I do next? I hope something new will come.... In the meantime enjoy the addon and have a good time. :)

Congratulations on the new release! I never tried your mod, because I am still busy with the patch myself, but how do you manage to overcome the discipline limitations? Did you manage to restore the unused clans or are you just converting the multiplayer ones? And maybe you should put the word "clan" in the title, like "Barrabah's Clan Addon" because often people ask me to put more clans into the patch and I wasn't really aware that your mod already does that ;)!

I didn't overcome the disciplines/clans limitations. The addon by default has the first 7 clans and their disciplines. Switching to the other set of 7 clans + disciplines is made by copying/pasting the content of some files from the main archive to the mod folder. A bit unorthodox but effective.  :tongue:


Maybe I should change the name of the addon to Barabbah's Clans Addon. But then I will have to change all the graphics in the mods' pages.... And then people might confuse it with Clan Quest LOL

Ah, I do the same when I switch between vampires and hunters which is what I am working on right now...

It was just a suggestion. Now I know it better I will recomment it to anyone asking for more clans in the UP!

Wait, this means we can play Ravnos finally? Once the Ravnos playthrough is done, I can finally say I've played through the game as all of the main 13 clans, across multiple mods.

It looks very interesting!
I haven't played this mod yet, and maybe I overlooked something in the description, but does the title "14 new clans" mean that we can choose each of them in the game at the same time, not just by 7 as at the original? And if so, how was this achieved technically?

But I'm sorry to say that I didn't made anything special technically speaking: there are 7 default clans to choose from, plus if you copy and paste some files from a folder you can pick the other 7....
