Bonus starting points to Bloodbuff and Bloodheal
« on: February 24, 2019, 09:38:08 AM »
Hi everyone

So I've recreated the Clans from Vampire Requiem for the CQM and added the Covenants as Histories. Everything works just fine besides one History, the one for the Ordo Dracul.

I wanted to add bonus starting points to Bloodheal and Bloodbuff, but it just doesn't work. I tried it with "normal" disciplines, which works fine.
Here are the lines from the traiteffects000.txt

TraitEffectGroup
      {
         "InternalName"   "History (Ordo Dracul)"
         TraitEffect
         {
            "Trait"   "Charisma"
            "Modifier"   "Max 3"
         }
         TraitEffect
         {
            "Trait"   "Manipulation"
            "Modifier"   "Max 3"
         }
         TraitEffect
         {
            "Trait"   "Appearance"
            "Modifier"   "Max 3"
         }
         TraitEffect
         {
            "Trait"   "Blood_Healing"
            "Modifier"   "+2"
         }
         TraitEffect
         {
            "Trait"   "Corpus_Vampirus"
            "Modifier"   "+2"
         }
      }

Where's the error?

Where's the error?

I would suspect that in a normal game Bloodheal and Bloodbuff don't have seperate levels...

This is very true however the Camarilla Edition and the Final Nights mods so make both Blood Heal and Blood Buff appear on the character sheet allowing you to put XP into them.

Anyway are you planning to share this mod? Sounds interesting.

Well, I forgot to mention that I'm using the CE Lite component of the CQM, as suspected by TF Alex Burton, so the game uses the leveled Bloodbuff and Bloodheal abilities  :smile:

Only thing I did was editing the Clandoc-, Histories- and Traiteffect-files, so it's not really a mod.

Once you have finished your mod (or addon, if you prefer this name) are you interested in helping me with my 7 new clans mod? :)
